Extremely over priced for what you get to eat I ordered scotch fillet steak was nice but one small peice of cauliflower and 5 beans come on a mouse could eat more my wife's pork belly was uneatable due to the vinegar and lemon sauce on it that was not listed on the menu and was not given a discount or even an offer to replace the meal would not recommend this place at all

We had dinner here by default because it was after 8 pm on a Monday night and all the other restaurants in Hobart seemed to be closed or closing. We were so impressed with our meals - we ordered pasta dishes and they were exquisite. The gnocchi was delicious and our seafood pasta had more seafood than pasta (usually the other way round). The wine we selected was lovely and the service was excellent. It was a good way to end our stay in Hobart!

I just called my husband to tell him about the meal I had at this restaurant to make him jealous! I had yummy scallops for entree and then for main, the best pork belly I've ever had! Hours later I can't stop thinking about it, it was so good. Great job chef for creating the perfect balance of moist, tender pork and outstanding crackle. It took some self control to not lick the plate. I will definitely be coming back here. Soon.

The food is very delicate but the choice is always limited. It was also hard to find the restaurant as you had to walk through a bar and a lobby.

We had dinner with friends at Charcoal on Saturday night. The food was excellent especially the entres of squid and gnocchi. The main course of market fish of the day, Blue eye was amazing!!! Deserts was also delicious!!

This restaurant is kind of a nice place for a family dinner. Seems like a good reliable place to go if you don't want anything to go wrong. But it's boring. Deserts are far expensive for their price, they are tiny.

Amazing quality food. Impeccable service. Great showcase for Tasmanian produce.

Always visit when staying at RACT/RACV Accommodation in Hobart Had two divine main courses but ate them before we could photograph them.. the food here is absolutely superb ...thoroughly recommend it.

The food is remarkable, I give it 5 stars and I highly recommend this place. Great service, food, drink list and more. For a restaurant in a hotel I must say it's better then most in Hobart

Came for dinner and had to wait 45 minutes for my meal. When it finally arrived, the $48 wagyu beef was tough and stringy, and the salad had no taste. I left hungry.

Breakfast is nice, but the cooking service is very slow.
