DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!! Couldn’t be more frustrated and disappointed in the service I received. I had 30 days of rental car coverage under my insurance plan. I asked the manager Konnor specifically when I would need to return the rental car according to this arrangement. He charged me for the tax on the rental up until that exact day he said it would need to be returned. When I returned the car on that day I was told I would need to pay over $200 because my insurance was only willing to pay up until the day before. I told the staff person I was informed by the manager to return the car on this specific day and not the day before and was in fact charged up until that day which proves when I was instructed to return the car. Since that day, I received calls every few days from different people informing me I had this outstanding balance to pay. Each time I explained the situation and asked to speak with Konnor or any manager/ supervisor. Each time, I was told they were not available but would call me promptly and my card on file would not be charged. This cycle repeated for several weeks and no manager/ supervisor ever contacted me or agreed to speak with me when I called. I saw on my credit card statement that they had in fact ignored my attempts to resolve this issue and charged my credit card without my consent. At this point, I believe they either accidentally told me the wrong day and are unwilling to take accountability for this mistake or they intentionally misinformed me knowing they could later charge me several hundred dollars on top of the tax fee I had paid out until that day and likely get away with it. Either way, the business practices at this particular location are deeply unethical and the behavior of the manager Konnor was just reprehensible. I had already been experiencing considerable hardship requiring me to utilize my insurance coverage to rent a car in the first place and Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Lake City compounded that hardship exponentially.

I have rented from this Enterprise several times in the past 2 years. I have been mostly satisfied with the service. I am giving the 3 star review because this time I was very disappointed. I wanted to return the car on Sunday I called and asked if I can get a ride home after dropping the car off. I was told because it is Sunday they were not staffed to take me home. Enterprise says they will take you where you need to go if it's within a short distance. I live about 2 miles from there. I understand about being short staffed on a Sunday so I asked if I returned the car the next day Monday there will be someone to take me home? He said oh yes they will have more staff and a ride is not a problem. So I return the car today and guess what, the manager said they are short staffed so he doesn't know when someone would be available to give me a ride. Well how long am I supposed to wait? I can't sit in the Enterprise office for one or two hours I have things that I need to do. So I called for a Lyft and asked if Enterprise will reimburse me. He said no they can't do that. He offered a 10% discount the next time I rented from this office. That does not make up for this. I had to pay for the Lyft so I can get home soon. The point is they shouldn't say you can get a ride but don't count on it. Just wanted to share my experience. I may not rent from this office again. The last time I rented from them I got a dirty vehicle that was missing a hub cap.

For some reason I had a sad experience at this location. I was told there was a holiday rush. In any case, I dropped a star for each of these things: 1) Sales kept pushing for optional insurance even after I denied it twice. I gave in just so I could get to work. No means no. Two no's still means no. Three is just infuriating. 2) The vehicle came with half a tank of gas. I filled it back before returning it then got a bill for "Refueling charge (13 gallons): $63.18" even though the bill also says I drove 47 miles. Check out that gas mileage. This just seems like a pain in the butt for everyone. Can you get your computer systems to flag bogus charges like this? 3) I forgot my storage access card in the vehicle. The next day I call to ask about it they said they'd investigate and call me back. They never returned the call, so I call again the day after. There was no investigation because the vehicle was already gone and they didn't know if cleaners would hold on to anything. I was told I can come look through lost & found myself. I'd love to see better tracking of leftover belongings. I know a rental business can't hold on to everything, but it should be possible to at least track belongings for a few days. I also didn't appreciate not being followed up on after being told I would be. If you can't follow up that's fine, I just want to know so I can move on and make necessary arrangements. Ref# 2BNQPJ

I would rate this place negative 5 stars. If it let me. I pick up a car in July to drive back to atl airport to catch a flight to go on vacation. An hour before I get to the airport I notice I didn't have my drivers license. So I called them to see if its there. They said yes. I had ask them to please overnight it to me they said np gave them the address. So I'm waiting and calling them to make sure they overnighted it. Kept saying yes. Come to find out they put reg mail and three weeks later I still have not received it. In the mean time not one person acknowledge it was there fault for not handing me my id back. Said it was my fault for not checking to see if they gave it back. So now its time for me to catch my flight to come home still no id and can't get on the plane. So I go back to them to rent a car to drive back. I can't why cause I don't have an id. So now I'm stuck in Mi trying to find a way back home to Fl. So I had to use a family members car to drive home from Mi to Fl with an infant. So not only did my ticket go to waste. I had already paid for my luggage that was a 100.00 bucks lost. And had to pay all the gas it took me to drive back. Not one time did any of the staff take responsibility for this. They offered yo pay the $14 it would take to get a new id. Do not rent from them.

This store is completely LIAR and MONEY ROBBER. I rented a car in March for one day and returned it to another store. I paid all the fees required for different location drop off and drove the car for only 2 hours but they charged me for 10 days($1000+). At first, their argument was I didn’t return the car on time. Then I have the destination store called them to confirm I have returned the car on time, they changed their claim to I never answered their calls. I answered at least 3 calls and called them back more than a couple times. I triple checked if I missed any single call from them but what I found was I did answered all the calls!!! If I didn’t answer your calls, how did you confirmed I have returned the car and billed me for the exact 10 days?? They insisted on billing me for 10 days but they never sent any additional receipt to me with the extended charge. The only receipt I received was the original bill for one day rental. Then I tried to dispute the charge with Chase but Enterprise somehow managed to send a bill that “I signed” to Chase while I’ve never seen or receive this bill physically or via email at all. Based on the fact that they lied that I never respond to their calls, not sure if the bill was even faked. I saw some similar comments below. NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!

Reserved a car over a week in advance for Memorial Day weekend. Upon showing up at my pick-up time I'm told they don't have a car available for me. What exactly is the point of a reservation if it doesn't reserve a car for you? That's literally the ONLY thing it's supposed to do. After a call to customer service, they told me there were economy cars available at another location and they would transfer my reservation there. This time I called the location directly before heading there, and they told me they could only rent me a non-economy car for a higher price. No thanks. They clearly have no idea what cars are available at any given time. I called customer service again and was told they would "definitely have economy cars available at the airport location" and I told them to transfer my reservation there. Called the airport location. They DO have economy cars available, at nearly FIVE TIMES the cost. My original reservation was $54. They can't even hold a car for me, and then when they locate one (30 miles away), it's for $237. Yeah, I don't think so. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

If I could , I would leave 0 stars!!Very rude, aggressive workers ! They do not respect clients , they do not care about customer service for them you are just a number , I do encourage to not use their services , if possible ! Worst experience ever ! They asked to bring the car for inspection and when I came they told me they are terminating the contract because of communication issues , they stated that they tried to reach me through email when I hadn’t receive any email even I called them 3 days ago asking if everything is up to date they told me everything good 2 days later I receive a call at 3 pm saying they need the vehicle returned right away till 5pm, I was working till 6pm , so I said it’s impossible because I’m working , they said they will report the vehicle as stolen to police !!! At this moment all the payments are paid they had no right to do that ! This is not human behavior! Everyone at enterprise should be taken accountable for this ! The manager name is Austin - very rude , not polite and inhuman !!

I would never rent a car again or suggest this place to anyone. They had very few to choose from. In the shade you couldn't tell how dirty the car really was. All you could see were the many splattered bugs and the sap blobs from their trees. The windows look as if they have never been cleaned. With the evening sun I could barely see through the yellow film on the inside of the windows, as I drove away from their place of business. . When I got home I had to wash the car inside and out. Unfortunately the dealership was unable to finish my car in one day and I'm having to keep the rental another day. I have tried about 20 times to get a hold of someone to let them know I needed the car another day. That I wanted to cancel the insurance I told them I didn't need in the first place. I've left 2 messages in the past 2 hours! NO return call!!!!!

Rented a car and had protection options added without my expressed consent. Had to go back and felt pressured to keep one of the protections for $5 a day. Bill totaled up to $80 for 16 or so days. I expressed my frustration with a manager who offered to cut the bill in half and would connect back with me about the issue within a week. I have not gotten the discount nor the update on the situation.. What hurt the most was the managers emotions about customer service being a big deal for the company. Now it feels like a script.. Don't think I'll use enterprise again. Shoot. EDIT: the response from the owner seems to be careless. I had contacted the email and explained my situation and did not receive a single reply back. It seems to all be a facade.. shame. You lost a life time customer.

I rented from Enterprise a few times and I've always had a great rental very clean on the outside and in always smelt like new car never had any problems. This particular rental I got this time seems like it was a rental that someone had dropped off the previous night and I had just got it that morning because it was dirty on the inside not vacuumed it smelled and wreaked of whoever was in the car whatever food or whatever their body oder was. The car was visibly dirty on the outside I paid for a brown bear car wash. I have never had any problems like this ever I mean granted I didn't have to pay for one-day rental which to me it's all right but that's not enough. It could have been worse I mean sadly I would probably rent from them again maybe.

In my travels, I’ve rented cars all across the country with almost all of the major companies out there. I can honestly say that this was THE BEST rental experience I have ever had. Patsy was absolutely perfect! You almost always get the feeling that the agents are trying to pull a fast one on you. But not with her. She was straightforward and amazingly respectful and accommodating. She took a good amount of time going over the car and explaining the policy and made me feel comfortable and at ease. If the other agents are anything close to the caliber of Patsy, this is the only place to rent a car in Seattle. I’m still blown away. Thank you Patsy. It was a bit of a trek from Sea-Tac but we’ll worth it. I guarantee I will be returning.

Their website's weekend deal is a "bait and switch" with their $16/day cars. Their website let me reserve a car the same day at the location for a couple hours later, but then they didn't have any cars in stock. They then offered me a free upgrade to a truck (i.e. not covered by credit card insurance) but then wanted to charge me $50+/day for insurance (total of $204 pre-tax for 4 days). So the real base price would have been like $66 + taxes and fees + gas. Their real business appears to be auto insurance and add-on sales. It's cheaper and easier to just borrow from the hundreds of nearby Car2Go (ShareNow / ReachNow) cars than deal with the hassle of Enterprise. The gas is free too. This is what I did.

I've rented from this location several times. There was this one time where we specifically requested only 1 of the optional insurances. After the agent 'Audrey' tried pushing us to purchase the others, she gave up. We refused them all except for the one we wanted. However, later on, the receipt included another damage protection insurance that we had refused. Which we only noticed after leaving the place. Disappointed that you cheat on your customers like this, for $6 more? Also, sometimes even with a reservation, you'd have to wait for more than 30 minutes while they clean the car. The cars are clean, run well and are fairly new.

I requested a specific type of vehicle a week before my reservation. I got a call 10AM (2 hours before pickup) the day of with the agent explaining that they no longer had X type of vehicle anywhere. Offered me a substitution that I wasn't entirely satisfied with and decided to wait if any more vehicles were returned. Called back several hours later and they had given the substitution vehicle away. I get that things happen and they adjusted my rate, but what even is the point of making a reservation? Contacted via the instructions below. They said, "Sorry that happened". Ooohhkay.

I had the best experience with this enterprise. Every single employee had remarkable customer service that made me feel heard. They were very accommodating when my situation with Geico proved to be difficult. Thank you very much Lake City Enterprise Crew! I appreciate how you treated me. Edit 7/23/2014 I still stand by the majority of this review. However, I was charged $750 without notification. After all the back and forth with geico and enterprise, I think I deserve at least one more a phone call before charging my card. It was a poor judgment call.

I was at this recently remodeled ENTERPRISE facility which have excellent team that are polite and professional . The manager KONNAR and the other AMAZING staff have addressed my issues with making reservations and gave me the best customer care you can ever get somewhere else! Cars are well maintained and located in accessible parking. I was also at another Enterprise location at Las Vegas airport which l have rented TESLA for a reasonable price. Can't ask more! Recently, I rent a car from there, and they gave me a car and say that it is upgrade. I tired to check every thing , but you can not check every thing in the same time. In our trip, we left one of my keys in trunk of car, and tried to open that from inside, but you know what ? the pull up key inside the car for trunk was out of order and we could not open it by that key. So we had a hard time there to open it. So I think they should check their car better, and not just pretend that.

I reserved a car with their corporate company. They said they could pick me up 6 miles away. I called the day of and since their was a closer enterprise they said they could not pick me up, but they did give me 10 dollars towards an Uber or whatever service I used to get their. It costed me $20 to get there. I went to this one rather then the closer one because corporate got me the best deal there. It was really well priced and the car was amazing to drive.

I recently had my car damaged in a wind storm. I got a loaner car from the Lake City Enterprise and it was a great experience. They picked me up from the repair shop and loaned me a beautiful Ford Expedition. It was a little big for me so they swapped it out for a new Camaro. Both were great to drive and I would recommend anyone to use them for a rental car. The staff does a great job and everyone is very friendly. Thanks again!

Our experience at the Lake City location for Enterprise Rentals was excellent. Scott Robertson was courteous, quick & made our experience easy, both when rented and returned our car. He was also humorous, as we asked if we could rent a particular car in the lot, which turned out to be his personal vehicle. This was also a convenient location, as it was close to where we were staying. I would definitely rent from here again!

Amazing service from this location as always. I use them fairly often for road trip cars and they have never delivered less than exceptional service. Friendly people, quick check in and drop off, clean cars. Due to an unexpected busy weekend, they ran out of the car class I had reserved. Instead of downgrading me, the gave me a complimentary upgrade. Could not be happier, regardless of the upgrade. Thanks again!

Convenient location. Staff are very polite and professional. Only issue is they have a low inventory of mid size cars. Wound up with a Semi and large SUV last two times. Kind of inconvenience. Staff reminded me before my reservation. It would be great if they could tell which car I would get. Would save my trip if its going to be a Semi. Would be more happy to rent if the car class I reserved is available.

We booked a car for a weekend vacation. We even called to confirm that we were picking up the car on time. But when we went to pickup the car, they said there are no cars for us and we never confirmed. They didn't even cared we lost our hundreds of dollars while booking the vacation which we never had a chance to go. Never booking from enterprise again. I could give 0 star if I had option

Alan is a gem to work with. There was a mistake with the contract which I discovered after signing it and he corrected it for me. It was a very pleasant experience I did not have to fight with them. Not so good experience with Enterprise this time. In my earlier trade offs with them , it never happened. SUV provided by them was not at all good. No interior cleaning, handle to move back seat was broken, Door behind driver seat cant be opened from inside and couple more. So my labor day weekend experience with Enterprise is not at all good. Enterprise should live up to brand name.

Natalie and the whole team are a joy to interact with. The lake city location is a bit out of the way from downtown (where we were) but we asked and they here happy to accommodate a complimentary drop off.

An international friend of mine recently tried to rent a car from this location and was turned away because they claimed they did not accept debit cards. My friend has a Visa card that is internationally accepted and they still turned it down, even though they are more than able to accept it according to a quick Google search. Do not go to this location.

If I hadn't insisted I would have gotten stranded with a flat tire. Front passengers was at less than 5 psi, they tried to tell me it was just looking and after being filled it would be fine... Clearly there was a puncture. They upgraded me to a 4x4 small SUV when I wanted an economy car. Obviously I didn't get the best gas milage

They insured that the vehicle would be available at the time I needed it and that was the case and all went well. A very effeciently run location. I was very satisfied.

We still didnt get a receipt emailed to us. The paper receipt only showed payment not breakdown. Originally we were quoted $35 a day plus $16 insurance but tax could not be $34, could it? Total for 1 day was $85. Plus I didnt get the 5% veteran discount promised. Almost happened last time we rented as well.

Rented a compact car here and was upgraded for no extra charge on arrival. The whole team working there went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Was given a ride after returning the car to the transportation hub to go to the airport. The worker who took me paid for me to get there as well..!!

Great services from this location. We rented a car from the Lake City location, and we had to unexpectedly drop it off in Canada, as we experienced a medical emergency and had to return by plane. The Enterprise location worked with us and made the change of plans as painless as possible.

The assistant manager, Nick, is very professional and will address your car needs. Also, they have no problem picking you up as long as you live somewhat nearby. If they can't get you the model you want, most likely they will upgrade your rental at no extra charge. Highly recommend!

Had no car for me despite reservation. After hour wait gave me a 2wd car even though I asked for and was promised 4wd. Had to return car. Left after 2 hours with no car. They offered me another one but at that point I had enough. Took my own car to the mountains.

Britney was super efficient. I was out of the door with my rental quickly. Opening gas tanks are different with every brand of car. Might be useful for clients if you include instructions on this during the walk through.

They will rent a car only if you have a reservation. We went directly to the office in the morning, and they refused to give any car saying that they don't have a single car for rent - which is unbelievable.
