"Really such a shame that you can't really enjoy this park"
"Nice playground for littler kids to enjoy"
"This is the homeless hangout"
"This wood be an awesome park of they could just get rid of the homeless people , I was going to take my grandkids here but left after a homeless man was trying to talk to my grandkids ,I've thought them stranger danger and he scared me and them he looked high on something"
"Been having my palm sunday egg hunt here for over 15 years"
Really such a shame that you can't really enjoy this park. My kids were freaked out to find a makeshift bed on the playground. There was a settlement under the pavillion as well. The nice shady walking trail and little kids play equipment are present but not usable because of the homeless community residence.
Nice playground for littler kids to enjoy. Enough space to run around. Big kid swings are broken. Lots of benches. One big gazebo. Homeless people smoking/drugs and drinking and arguing in the middle of the park. When we walked the path, they stared us down, felt uncomfortable.
This is the homeless hangout. There are ALWAYS homeless people here. Not that it’s unsafe but just be aware. The equipment needs maintenance. All the swings are broken. It’s a beautiful park but we won’t come here anymore, mostly because there are rarely any other kids here.

Been having my palm sunday egg hunt here for over 15 years. It's a great place for what I do there. I even take my kids regularly to play at the park during the year. Homeless have gotten more regular but I see that almost everywhere. Take the babies enjoy yourself.
Needs better park play ground equipment for the children to play on other than that nice place and location. People were smoking and drinking at the park where kids were playing but I guess that's going tti happen if it's pop shops around and convenient stores near.
Love the park. Nice shaded walking sidewalks. Very nice pavilion. Unfortunately the derelicts are taking over. Because of this, I would not recommend you go in the early morning or late evenings. Day time use only to be safer. And in a group if you have children.
Small park with a playground, covered gazebo and paved walkways. Please be careful if bringing children to play as there is occasionally trash and debris left in the playground area. Check for dangerous items before letting your kids run and play. More
A lot of the playground is wearing away and there were several homeless people sleeping in the playset so my son and I were stuck to only a small portion of the playground. Great coverage from the sun though. Fantastic canopy of many old trees
Had a very big trail to walk, the park itself was enclosed. Equipment looks like it needs to be updated not to mention the fact that there were some homeless vagrants there that made the area seemed a little uneasy towards the end of our stay
Small, quiet park. Even on days with a dozen kids it is still pretty quiet. You'll often find younger children here so you won't have to worry about them being run over by bigger kids. There are plenty of benches around the park to sit and
It would be a nice park if it wasn't overran by homeless people. It's shaded and has a sidewalk around the perimeter for walking. And has a nice playground. I walk there almost every morning. When my daughter doesn't have school she walks
I always visit this park when my daughter asks to play at a park. I like that it's open and visible from the road and nearby businesses, usually isn't too crowded but not creepy and deserted either. My little one loves the playground and
Love coming here with my 2 dogs and also great place to bring little kids. Very shaded and quiet even though it's right next to Beach Blvd. you don't hear all the noise like you may think. I recommend coming here if you want a nice quiet
I like how big this park is however there is not many play equipment for kids and the play area is also really dirty and worn down. But because of the space they were running around and having fun. The last time I was there the park had
Nice little park in the middle of the city. Had the lookout tower, which is no longer in use or accessible. There was a few nice pieces of playground equipment, and a gazebo. Seemed to have a bit of homeless people hanging out, but they
The park is big with lots of open grass which makes it nice park to visit. Unfortunately the inner part of the park is full of homeless people and stragglers. I've gone at 8am, 10am 1pm and they're always there at the gazebo and on the
Their is a lot of homeless people in this park. Yeah they do have benches quite a bit actually. But i took my 3 year old daughter to play and felt so uncomfortable. And it isnt the first time i have been to this park and its the same
I did not like how there isn't enough playground it's only swings for the kids to have a good time I love the nature trail where people can run it's beautiful it's beautiful it got a lot of shade
Parks are my jam so... This park has a sidewalk that allows you to meander through it without missing an inch of it. Shade everywhere and I'm taking about the OG kind of shade from
We walk our dog here at least 3 or 4 times a week. Whoever maintains this place does a great job. Sometimes there is trash on the ground but that is from litterbugs unfortunately.
Stopped here to have a picnic lunch with the kids. Saw a person shoot up and pass out on the bench. Left after 5 minutes. Would be a nice place if it wasn't so sketchy. Very sad.
Awesome for a quick game of catch. Large open spaces. A new-ish playground. No homeless people sleeping on the playground equipment. No trash on the ground. No bathrooms, though.
This has been a park of concern for many years. I have called the police to come and help move the street folks out. It is very uncomfortable to bring children to this park.
Spacious oak-lined park with playground. Paved walking path, but I would not consider it a hiking trail. Old forestry tower, that cannot be climbed. No restrooms.
Great park its fun and safe for my kids!! We have been going to this park since I was a kid! Its needs a little work here and there but nothing alarming!
Lots of trees, so nicely shaded. Equipment not in the best condition. A little too worn down for gatherings, but not too bad to bring dog or kids.
Homeless central. Tower out of commission. Litter everywhere. Imagine a beautiful city like Jax, amazing weather - completely absent Parks and
It’s a nice park, but too many homeless people and dealers. The city has to take an action, or we can just bring the matter to the media.
There are many homeless people living in the park. I don't like children being so close. Kids shouldn't have to deal with that.
Wish the tower was maintained and open ☹️ Plus lots of homeless people. Could really be a great place if taken care of
A great place to take your children, go on a date, or even go for some time to yourself.
Playground…

Nice playground for kids, shady walking area, a hawk visited and I'm pretty sure people sleep there at night.
It's a little crowded sometimes but it's a good fun park for my 8 year old daughter and myself to go to.
Enjoy outdoor living this is the place for you it's a nice family-oriented Park and it's animal friendly
Not the park to take kids. Come here only if you're meeting your dealer or doing something shady lol
Great park but people were using the water to bath themselves. We won't be going back
Too many drug addicts hang out there. Not safe at all
