"Purchased Soda Blaster"
This is essentially a collection of Chinese made tools and some household items. Some are a really good deal for a 2nd quality. Much of it reminds me of buying the cheaper warranty car battery. It'll likely work for a while but die on you/be more of a hassle than if u bought the better brand. So just check the reviews for EVERY important product and know some are junk like tin snips shear-jaws don't meet/can't cut ANYTHING. Some things are really great deals especially if u use the online coupon app for 20%off & free items like LED lights. Inventory and freebie deals are reduced from Trump's tarrifs and Covid so might not be as screaming deals. The hand wrenches are generally good/work fine, compressors okay for home owner. So be aware of reviews like appliance handtruck wheels break easy means it breaks on moving day strapped to your fridge/dryer...that's a huge $ cost for the moving van rental/people sitting on their hands+emergency purchase a real one/try to rent one from U-haul (who's out)...
This location is one of the oldest in Nashville to my knowledge and the staff that works here is always helpful very suggestive and doesn't push a on 1 it's sale on you if it's not exactly what you need or what you're looking for. And if it just so happens that they don't have what you're looking for or can't find it at that store they will look it up and they will tell you where to go that would tell you how much it is they will give you any information that you need to make sure that you do leave there satisfied even though you were not able to purchase the original item that you were looking for. I've never left this store unhappy on satisfied or anything and I would highly recommend that you visit this one even if you need to go just a little bit out of the way to come here it will be worth your while in the long run you will not be disappointed they have the larger inventory than most of the surrounding stores so there's a good chance you'll find what you need.
This Harbor Fraight is closest to my house and the one I always go to. Can't say enough good things about it. If you are new to whole HF experience and might heard conflicting information about quality of their tool, here is my two cents about it - I'm a automotive technician and as a beginner, 15 years ago, I was buying a lot of their tools, I would say about 75% of all the tools I bought there are still doing what they suppose to do. So, dont believe anybody who tells you different. The main thing is - if you spend 20$ on the set of sockets and they start braking left and right - throw it in the trash and consider the one what works 20$ set a 40$ one:) still way chipper then buying a 300+$ set of sockets from name brand tool truck. That helps build your tool bank faster and like I mentioned earlier, in a lot of cases for a long time use. Hope it helps someone.

Purchased Soda Blaster. Not only that but a bigger air compressor. 1. None of the firings or hose fit. 2. Had to purchase them at Home Depot. 3. Harbor Freight didn't have Soda Media. 4. Searched all over NASHVILLE for something. 5. Air tank they had me purchase wasn't powerful enough. 6. Finally get media and get it working with proper media. The bottom Brasd fittings blew off and literally broke. 7. Called for manger 3 times he was busy with parking lot sale. 8. I have been dealing with their poor products a full week. 9. Heading to Homedepot to get fitings. 10. I have researched their products they are very poorly made and most often "seconds". 11. I purchased over $900.00 from them in a week and can't get a call from a manager.
A DIYer's kind of store. Visited Harbor Freight for the first time last week and was like a kid in a candy store. I didn't recogonize many of the tool brands but then again I usually dont care about the brands of my tools as long as they work and do the job. They have a great return policy (90 days I believe) if you're not satisfied. For those that enjoy doing your own projects or don't have the money to pay someone else or both, this is a great store to start with for tools and accessories. Tools are expensive regardless of where you go but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality and cheap price this store has to offer. Sign up for the discount program as there are some good deals shared to their members.
Last Friday after searching all over middle TN and was on the heels of having to drive to Huntsville to find what we needed for my dads tillers. We got help from the manager, Matt, who tracked down the motors we needed and let us know they would be there first thing in the morning. Everyone employee I passed by greeted me or offered help if I needed it. Matt even helped me to my car with the motors. The variety of “freight” was abundant! I will be moving soon and I will need some of those packing blankets they have for a great price. Great experience by Harbor Freight on Lebanon Road.
This place is bad for me, but still oh so good. The tools arent top quality, but when you work on a budget like I do, you have to take what you can get. I will say that I have a woodshop and use a lot of tools from here and they've all been fine for the most part. Not just little stuff either. My table sander, table saw, and air compressor are from here as well as several other power tools, and I havent had a single one fail after a ton of use. I love them, just be careful because its easy to go overboard since everything is so inexpensive.
Ive shopped at Harbor Freight for some ten years now and it has been a always good experience for me. I have a multitude of Pittsburgh tools and they have performed like top name brand tools. Ive had name brand impacts to bit-out but not Pittsburgh impacts no problems at all. One has never broken. The staff is always kind and Im very impressed about their expansion in selection of tools. I expect Harbor Freight to be around for a long time to come. Way to go Harbor Freight for you have always did good business, I appreciate your business.
Went there for an engine brace after their website showed that they had them in stock. When I got there I was informed that the website was wrong and the only one there was the display. I asked if I could purchase the display and was quickly told no. I asked for the employee to ask the manager if he would make an exception since the website was wrong. The manager sent the employee out of the office with a confirmed no. They need a lesson in customer service and hopefully a one star review will get them one from upper management.
It's a hardware store, plain and simple. They've got an extensive collection of tools, lots of their own brand, but they offer seemingly more reliable options. The employees were friendly and made sure that I was able to find the specific things I was looking for. Their prices are low and they offer tons of sales frequently. If you're looking for something specific, then they're more than likely to help you find it. My only complaint is that I wish there was one closer to downtown. 10/10
I shop here weekly and wow the changes in the store. Over the last year the inventory and selection has grown by leaps and bounds. This location is rarely out of inventory. It's great shopping at this location because there is always something new. The only negative I can say is that I get emails like 4 or 5 times a week. That's not a bad reflection on the store at all. If anything it's a minor inconvenience when checking my inbox. Great sales. Great prices. Great selection!!
I visited Harbor Freight today in Donelson for tarps and zip ties. The cashier Becky was awesome and soo helpful. She made me feel like I was a very important customer. She took her time and made sure I was able to get all my coupons validated. She asked if I found everything I came for and I actually couldn’t find a particular tarp with draw strings. She asked another employee to find me one soo I would be leaving with all I came for! I was one very happy customer!!
While checking out at Harbor Freight on Lebanon road in Nashville today, as usual, they asked for my phone number that was on file. I said there's not one. They asked if I wanted to add it and I politely said no. The cashier then said he needed my phone number before I could check out. I told him Harbor Freight does not need my money then and walked out. First time for this. Hopefully it was a new employee that didn't know how to use the register.
I get that it’s close to closing and you want to go home, but the lady working tonight was so rude. Not so much as a hello when we walked in the door- literally just barked at us, “You’ve got 15 minutes.” The next person who came in, same thing - no greeting at all, just - “You’ve got 8 minutes.” I’ve never felt less welcome in a store. She’s not much for customer service but she sure knows how to keep track of time.
Harbor Freight has definitely got some of the best prices around. Depending on what you’re looking for, they might just be a great option for you. Don’t expect high quality tools. But you get what you pay for and some of the tools are decent. I buy a lot of moving blankets, rubber gloves, little things that you can’t find at other local stores. For the price and the selection they’re not too bad.
I bought a reciprocating saw for around $50 and cut out and repaired all the rotten clapboard siding on my house for which I received a $3000 quote to repair. I'm a happy, but very tired, camper. I think the brand of the saw is Louisville, which is a goodly distance from Milwaukee, but the savings thing worked for me. I can burn up a $50 tool just as easily as a $300 one.
Cheap tools that perform like you should expect. If you need professional grade tools and accessories, spend a little more and go to Fastenal or Care Supply. If you need drill bits or other consumables for a handful of uses, their stuff might do, but adjust your expectations. Avoid the power tools and only shop the sale items and you'll probably be alright.
If they dont have what your looking for to buy tools and diy projects, they can find it for you. Really helpful staff. Everything is neat and clean which is great for a tool shop. I found a wide variety of ear protection and bought the perfect headsets for my son and I to go see Monster Jam! Im sure we will use them for loud events again. Good prices too.
I'm giving a 4 star cause usually they are great but the Lebanon rd. Location sucked. The cashier was an old lady that was extremely rude and disrespectful. Got on the intercom and accused me of trying to steal... I have money. I don't need to steal. I have never stolen anything in my life. Will never go back to that location.
This used to be my location of choice but there is no way I am stepping foot back in this place. The store manager should not have a job, let alone one in which he is teaching others how to treat customers. He is a joke of a manager and is probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with in a retail store.
Selling your savings I love harbor freight I always have what I want plus a multitude of things that I need. The only problem with harbor freight is there so much stuff that I want and I always leave with more stuff than I came with or came to get.but their prices are always hands down the best.
You can’t beat Harbor Freight. This place has the deals, the service, and all the right equipment to keep you coming back for more cheap tools. Don’t let that lady at the checkout get ahold of you though, you’ll be signed up for 50+ mailing lists for the rest of your life. Still worth it.
We found what we wanted quickly, but seemed a little slow checking out. And, they were out of FREE item. This has happened at this store before. No substitute, just offered raincheck. Well, if you aren't going back real soon, and live 20 miles across town, that isn't helpful.
This is a pretty good discount tool store. The staff is friendly and helpful if they know what you're looking for. I don't suggest buying drill bits here because they won't last but everything else I've gotten here has been of reasonable quality and reasonably priced.
☝️This place is amazing. A place that converts grown people into amazed youths. Nominally priced, available equipment, clean, unobtrusive shopping, friendly, not bad. The problem might be "how not to go overboard with your spending " Just fantastic. …
I found what I needed and at a decent price. It would be nice if any of the employees were able to help me or had any knowledge of tools. I've been to other locations where they seem to know a lot, but this location doesn't seem to have that same focus
Friendly and helpful staff. Almost everything goes on sale or has a coupon. So get a HF app to see best prices and get your tools while cheaper. Or wait till next sale. And if it a need it now use the 20% off and a free item and it still a great deal.
Nice cashiers. The price is cheap, and there are some gems here, but most of the tools you find here either don't work well or break easy. Bought an exhaust pipe cutter, couldn't cut its way through it even close, and the grips started the tear off.
They carry lots of affordable tools and home/yard/garage stuff that anywhere else would be at least twice the cost. A lot of it isn't what I'd call pro-grade, but if you're a homeowner or the casual DIY'er they've got a lot of what you'll need.
I always buy my electrical ties, drop cloths and tarps here. Used to not buy many tools here, but they have really started to carry some much nicer hand tools lately. Staff is always very helpful and courteous though.
Out of everything I needed, and they only have digital coupons and I don't have the time to be Bothered with that, I used go in weekly, and spent a lot of money, but now I go in maybe once a month and don't get much
I love me some harbor freight. Prices are wonderful on the tools and service is fabulous. The guys are getting girls in there or willing to help you with any kind of tools that you may need. Highly recommend them
Good selection of cheap tools. Thanks to their ridiculous amount of old school coupons it will likely take you 2x longer to pay for your selection than it does to shop. Plan for extra time than you expected.
The manager was very rude and judgmental. Calling the cops on a homeless lady for sitting out front. Dude you need to get a heart she has nowhere to go. Hope he becomes homeless within a week or so.
Had to have a couple of tire tools. Went and found what I needed and checked out. Didn't have coupon just needed the tools which worked perfectly. Cashier was a very nice lady and got me on my way.
They may have the fastest service So they advertise. But please take a book and your own chair. At least when the doctor's office screws you out of 3 hours of your life they let you sit to wait
Very nice staff and very clean and organized store and they hade everything I needed and the was great and good quality tools and power tools will be going back for all the rest of my tools
Way out of my way and was very disappointed to see that Harbor Freight no longer offers decent prices on tool boxes. Total bust, never going back. Mind as well get Craftsman for that price!
They always go over and beyond. I needed a certain size of bolt/metal cutters and they went to the back to see it was in stock! Great customer service. I've been going there for years now.
Nice Selection Of Needed Tool's & Other Work Supplies For Fair Prices, I Highly Recommend ßuying All Your Needed Work Material's For More Then "A Fair Price" Definite ☆5 Out Of 5 Star's☆
I love harbor freight. They have every tool under the sun. This location is in a great spot right off briley Pkwy. Employees are nice and helpful. Can always save 20% with their coupons.
I need to replace knife for work. Finding what I needed was quick and easy. There were some replacement disposable tile blades that may be useful to open boxes. Kaeli was cheerful!!!!
Everyone is very friendly and willing to help you. The store always looks very well stocked and organized as well as very clean. I love this store and their great prices. Wonderful!
Wow good tools for the price. Friendly knowledgeable people who work there. I've shopped here for at least 10 years. Many jobs have been possible because of this wonderful store.
This is my toy store. I've always received friendly help. I recently just bought a canister steamer from Harbor Freight. That steamer is a powerhouse. It's a great buy.
Very helpful staff at the Nashville location. As a general contractor I have found that harbor freight is a better option on certain items than the usual supply houses.
An awesome low cost place to buy decent tools. Not the super highest quality, but at these prices, they beat other big box retailers with higher prices hands down.
This location is clean, well organized and efficient. Store no longer has heavy rubber import odor. Staff is helpful but not all mdse is the best of quality.
Good location. Inventory was a little light. Call ahead prior to making the trip to make sure they have the item you are looking for. (for big ticket items)
Lets face it. You need a tool for a specific job the its going to sit in youur toolbox for 3 years. Harbor fright tools get the bob done at a good price.
The manager knew what to recommend and was very helpful. The cashier was very friendly and professional. The other customers were awesome. Great Store
They have a really great tool selection, even things I have never seen before, not even at Lowe's or Home Depot ! Their prices are really good too !
This location, is also one of my favorites to shop. The staff is knowledgeable of the products they sale, and kind and courteous to customers.
Harbor Freight Tools has greats prices and promotions; high quality products and good service! It’s a perfect option for self employees men.
Friendly staff and very organized store. They had better stocked shelves than any Harbor Freight I've seen. Very clean store.
Employee was super friendly and very professional, he knew what I needed, and 0 complaints on attitude for a returned item.
Gloves are at pandemic high levels. EXTREMELY expensive. They could sell the gloves cheaper, but they will Not.
Just like all the other harbor freight stores, this one has tools for great prices. The staff is very helpful.
Good harbor freight, nice employees. Their stock is ok, they are occasionally out of items I’m looking for.
They have a very nice and helpful staff. I always enjoy shopping there. You never know what you'll find.
good place to find tools and parts odds and ends you can not find unless you drive to a big box store
Big, well stocked store. However, only one cashier was working, and the bathrooms were out of order.
Been the only business in that area to stay consistent! All the other places around it are new.
It is a cool place to get tools they have things other places don't carry at reasonable prices
Kaden is awesome. Super friendly. Exactly what you’d want in a leadership role. Thanks y’all!
It amazes me how there can be so much stuff in one store. A great place to get cheaper tools.
I liked the tent sales better than having all of the sale items scattered around the store
Great store. Very clean and well organized. Especially loved that it was staffed by women!
Great Store Great customer service all ways f here to help I'm lucky its close to my home
Friendly staff great shopping experience. I mean, can you go wrong with Harbor freight?
I was insulted by a cashier. Called manager Lip service only Will never be back.
I've been here several times now, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Gr8 welcoming and professional assistance always. I love Harbor Freight Tools!
