Had to swap over a speaker system due to a fault. First attempt was not exactly pleasant. The employee didn't really want to serve or be there from the way it looked. Not to mention they didn't have stock so I was told to just check the website and come back another day. However this was completely redeemed by Lee. Who approached me when I walked into the store. Made the whole replacement experience wonderful. Super happy and pleasant, made me feel like a valued customer. Even when sent to the counter to process, he hovered to ensure it went smoothly! The young guy in a white shirt at the counter helped the trainee who was serving me whilst serving his flow of customers. He Definitely deserves management as he showed excellent people management skills as well as a high level of customer service and clearly knew his stuff. Also gotta mention JB's awesome POS software. Working in the area of business software, it's one of the most impressive that I have seen. With the ability to easily swap between mobile and computers. Thanks JB!

A couple days ago I bought a turntable from Melrose Park. It was on sale for $300, however, the team member who served me ripped the tag off in front of me and didn’t give me the discount. As this was the product I wanted I didn’t fuss. The team member gave me a returned item as this was the only one available. After bringing it home I couldn’t get it to work. I tried for hours, I ended up going into the Marion store to look for answers. No one really could figure out why it wouldn’t be working so they insisted I bring it in to return it. The next day I brought it in to Marion and was served by Elk. Who gave great customer experience and gave me a great deal on another turntable. As myself who works in retail, Elk deserves some appreciation for the great customer experience that was provided!

Was served by a rude and arrogant salesman, I almost walked out without purchasing the scooter I went to buy, and decided not to buy the laptop I had also planned to purchase because I was treated so poorly. Salesman took a personal call while in the middle of talking to me and when I didn't realise he had done so, as he was using a tiny Bluetooth earpiece, he snapped at me when I asked a question regarding my purchase. A friend I was with and a stranger nearby both came up to me and said they didn't realise he was on the phone either, and also commented about how disgustingly he treated me. Had no knowledge of the products he was selling and was unwilling to provide any useful assistance. Will not be shopping at JB-HiFi ever again.

Wow. I cant believe after 2 hours of driving, I had landed at Jbhifi Marion. Both my mate and I had seen that online they had in stock Worms on the (PS5). Upon our arrival, We had brought the Game to the front counter wanting to price match this only to find a furious unpleasant man in front of us. Well hey. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or not. But boy oh boy. We copped it. Man said after we started a good chat with "How's your day going mate". He unwillingly responded with......."Fine". Now, I don't know about you, but this just isn't it. Not only did I receive such intolerable customer service. They would not allow me to leave the store with the game. Well done JB. Time to go look in the half price Bins at EB games!

Hopeless place. Over half hour of my life I’ll never get back. After a long wait I finally get service to remove boom box from locked cabinet. The assistant then dumps me to attend to a woman whose time clearly more valuable than mine. As I’m heading to checkout she then comes up to take boom box off me as ‘I can’t leave with you because it came out of locked cabinet’ and disappears to other corner of store to attend to her pet customer. I wait few more minutes then put down other items I intended to purchase and leave, forever more I might add. Amazon here I come… Total amateur hour at JBs, where apparently they strive, unsuccessfully, to achieve mediocrity in retailing.

Bought an Xbox Series X game no more than a week ago for $74. Wasn't particularly happy with the game so wanted to swap it for something else. Guys at desk said because the game is opened I can't return it or swap it. They said I can 'trade' it so I asked how much.. and they said a mere $15!!! That's a -79.73% LOSS in value!! I said "No way! Way too low! I just bought this a week ago".. the guy replied "That's the best we can do". Well it's a PATHETIC 'best' at best! Just a bunch of thieves! Never buying from them again. Lost a customer! To top it off.. went to EBGames and they offered trade-in $49. Now you know where I'm ALWAYS buying from.

Wide range of products however the customer service was poor. We waited for around 15 minutes before finally being spoken to. We knew what we wanted so the employee grabbed it from the back and we went to pay but our card didn't have enough money. After spending all of 2 minutes transfering money the employee had left to go and deal with other customers without a word to us as to where he was going. He finally came back and let us pay for our phone and we left. He also seemed very distracted and zoned out while dealing with us, like we were being an inconvenience. At least he didn't try to push any warranties. Overall not a great experience...

I bought SPACETALK Kids Smartwatch in JB Hi-Fi on 21/12 for my son as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, when my son turned the watch on and tried to set it up, he was asked to input a password. I reckoned it was a returned item. So I went to the store and asked for a refund. But the sale staff and the manager required me to reset the password and unregisterer first, even though I explained the fact and we did not set up anything. It took a long time, after I became angry and blamed their unreasonable chicanery, the manager disappeared and another staff helped me refund. A VERY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!!

Went in to purchase a phone, staff were incredibly uninterested and unhelpful. The team member who served us had no knowledge about phones, couldn't tell me about the different between models or even cases for the phone. After talking for 20 minutes I was told that they didn't actually have the phone in stock and the staff member didn't want to check another store for me. When I mentioned going to another store I was muscled into paying at this store and collecting elsewhere so the staff member could receive his commission. Very unsatisfied with the service and don't recommend it to anyone.

Ok, Went this morning Sat 24th September 2022, wanting information on buying a New Samsung Mobile, a Girl served me, So unhelpful, I asked her if the New Samsung galaxy Camera was better, Oh it's just the same, Seriously, Not interested at all, then I had to Look for someone else to help me did find a guy who was extremely helpful, so I brought the Mobile, just wish you had a Service, that People could pay $30-$50 for someone to help like myself, set up the New Mobile, help transfer information from Old to New, Many Older people have No Clue how to Set up, would be a Great Option to offer..

Hi. We went into a store whilst a sale was on looking at a Samsung Z Flip 4 phone and told the sale was to the end of the month... we went today after the Easter rush and was told the sale was ended and can't do anything. He also told us that they could pull the sale at any time even though I was told it was to end at the end of the month. Very disappointing customer service from JB Hi-Fi.... they are able to say one thing and act on it differently. We have been a customer of JB Hi-Fi for many years... and this was very surprising but it seems the service has dropped in there stores.

Went in to buy a surveillance camera. We checked stock beforehand online which said they had in stock before having to ask for help as we couldn't see any on the shelf. Guy 1 started looking for item and then abandoned us for other customers without even telling us. Had to speak to Guy 2 who couldn't find it either and enlisted Guy 3 who also couldn't find it. Left empty handed with a suggestion to check other stores....how about you make sure your stocktaking is up to date and accurate so people don't make a trip unnecessarily and train your staff on decent customer service.

I went to buy a Apple watch today at JB hifi. I always had a great experience but Today’s experience wasn’t good at all. It was a guy with beard, not sure of name but seemed like he was in Rush the whole time when i asked him anything related to the watch. I do understand sometimes the store can be very busy but today wasn’t that busy at all. The way he was talking to me wasn’t just rushful but also was very unpleasant. Felt like i would just leave. I did ended up buying and the watch is great but Customer service was not as i thought would be as helpful.

Zero customer service , Although it is written on the website of this brand, you can return what you bought before 30 days this shops manager told me each shop have a different policy and we don’t accept that and he told me I should go to another shop for refund, such a shame for manager of this shop, if it’s their website it should all shop’s policies you guys are not the owner that you can change one shop’s policy’s, so I’m telling whoever read this please go to another shop for buying things because they don’t follow JB Hi-Fi policies.

Very rude staff at the payment counter. She was on phone fo several minutes when customers are waiting for payment. After waiting half hour I asked her for split payment, she declined straight away and put the product at the back as if I am there for shop lifting. We bought a large tv couple months back, a guy served was very good. We had good experience previously to pop in next time and they didn’t have issues with split payment. Very disappointing experience! I will never buy any product in this store :(

I was there today with a client as I am a support worker, and while the staff were friendly enough if felt like we were being targeted and watched the whole time my client was looking through the store, to the point that when we were about to leave the store, the security guard said through his radio that “they are down this way” which we were the only two customers there so I am confident it was about us. We had only gone in there so my client could browse comfortably without being discriminated against.

Good product range and prices. Could do with more staff on floor to help customers needing assistance or advice but nevertheless staff are very polite and helpful. Can also check availability of items and shop on line and then either have those items delivered or you can order on line and they'll put the items aside for you so that you can then visit store within two hours to collect. Even just knowing that items are available and the prices saves shopping time. Great service!

Sold me a faulty $600 Samsung watch that stopped working properly after 3 months. Forced me to send it off for repair 3 times & the technician still couldn't fix it. They promised me the last time it was being sent off for a refund. Now they're refusing to replace or issue a refund. Will never purchase from jb hifi again & will be telling everyone I know about this horrible experience. Do not purchase from here - dodgy products & terrible customer service.

Customer service was poor and non existent from most employees. Nearly got bloody ran over from one of the employees, he did not care to say excuse me instead he stormed through my partner and I without apologising. There were three employees working at the desk, one on the phone. The other two did not serve us, instead we had to wait for the employee on the phone to finish before being assisted. Overall experience was extremely poor.

Was sold wrong product from collinades JB hi fi as I pacificaly as for ear buds that could receive and make phone calls by touching them to work independently when using one at a time sold me lg . But I returned them to know Marion where the staff was more than helpful to refund but as the bloke was more than help full finding me a ear buds product that did what I wanted and payed more but happy with service and product in the end

This store has been upgraded and was pretty amazing. It is massive and even has its own coffee shop in there. It was extremely busy on a Saturday but might be slightly better on a weekday. The staff are very nice and patient and genuinely seem to want to help you get what you need. You need to allow plenty of time to find someone to help you and then line up at the checkout but I was very happy with the outcome.

Always loved this store with how helpful they were, but when I live over 30 minutes away and it takes me 3 trips to get the correct information, the lady in gaming has absolutely no clue about games and should be moved to a different area within the store. 2 stars because finally when I was able to talk to some one different he was so helpful and finally admitted she had been giving me the wrong information.

I couldn't rate this place more highly, they were awesome I went there looking for a specific laptop and they were sold out, but the assistant went out of his way to find me one with the same specs, he didn't try to sell me something else he found me exactly what I was looking for thats awesome customer service right there. The staff were super friendly and certainly helpful.

Went in 8/10 at 4.25pm and asked for some Help with mobile phone holders first with the security guard and then the guy on the counter, both of them called for assistance and after waiting over 15 minutes decided to leave and go elsewhere. When Leaving store I counted 4 staff members Talking to one another. Very disappointing by customer service in this market. All were too busy chatting!!

I like the products they sell, but this store is so jam packed with items, you feel like one false move and you'll break something. Cramped with narrow aisles and a feeling of being overwhelmed with all the products. That being said, they are about to relocate to another site in the centre, so hopefully these issues will be addressed. I did find the staff to be friendly and helpful.

They didn't have the connection I needed. The connection on eBay costs $5. I ended up buying an Rf unit box with a converter to hdmi for $56. Hdmi cable also. The only drama was I already went to EB games. Jcar and some other joint and JB hifi was the only place to render a solution. I finally got to play GTA San Andreas on my newly purchased xbox original gaming system

Tried getting advise on the difference between 2 watches we wanted to purchase. The sales consultant wasn't helpful in helping make a decision . He wasn't unfriendly, basically read the features off the box and walk off . Had to research online . The only reason I went in was to get advise . Retail stores would need to look at in-store service to stay relevant

We went to JBHIFI to get some electronic gifts to family and also to treat ourselves with a good gaming laptop. Christian from the store, looked after from beginning to the end and was very helpful and went out of his way to make a decent bundle price. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Stock levels incorrect. When I complained about this was snarled at by a nasty blonde shop assistant who spoke very rudely to me. Highly inappropriate and highly unprofessional. Purchased item cheaper online elsewhere. This store requires the manager to address customer service issues. I worked in retail and never ever spoke rudely to a customer

After going to several stores, I ended up at Marion. After talking to an attendant found the product I wanted and proceeded to counter. After waiting for nearly 10 minutes was informed none available, the sort " had luck mate none in stock". In the end went to a forth store, rang before hand, they had the product at $99 cheaper. Yippee for me.

We purchased an LG laptop in June 2023, and have had problems since. We purchased the computer to move overseas, they assured us that if we had any problems LG is international and will be able to help us in our new country of residence. This is definitely not the case, and now JBHifi is not responding to help me with another solution.

Very impressed with the service at this store. The sales assistant knew what I was looking for and where to find it, which was the service I was looking for. Other sales assistants really need to be aware of when customers walk in the door and stop talking to each other and start paying attention to potential sales that just walked in.

The Westfield Marion packs a ton of stock in one small store. Plenty of your favourite entertainment and devices to keep you engaged. Some great collectables too. If you're looking more for large screen TVs, I suggest either Melrose Park or the Homemaker Centre in Mile End. It's our go-to store for our gaming, phones and movies.

Being one of the big boys in electronics their range is huge and prices are pretty good. Having such a nig store does have some issues though. On this visit I came for a particular printer that was on sale and also on display in the shop but as it happens it was also out of stock so I left a bit disappointed.

Everything in JB is available somewhere else much cheaper. Their salespeople are on Commission. That incentivises them to over sell. The sales staff will tell really obvious lies assuming you know nothing about tech and become hostile if you ask follow up questions. Kind of embarrassing.

I bought a security camera system here. I'd done some homework but was pleased the guy serving me knew lots more. He mentioned downsides to some (eg needing to pay monthly feeds for cloud storage on some brands). Very happy with the final purchase - it works great.

Went in when it was extremely busy. Was difficult to move around, tried to get staff member’s attention so I could buy a new hard drive but was ignored. Have a good range, everything is there but it isn’t the cleanest of spaces. Will stick to JB at Rundle Mall.

Great service here and are very good at giving a deal or price matching. Some staff are better than others but that's a given in the retail industry. Loads of stuff on display so it's a great way to burn an hour if needed and you're interested in technology.

Customer service today by Shaikh at the Marion store was an absolutely horrible experience. He was rude, arrogant, angry and I couldn’t understand why. He needs to be disciplined for his behaviour before such horrible experiences happen to other people.

Prices are reasonable, i checked website for dji drone, was same price as in website. Its cheaper than harvey, good guys, if u r getting electronics. Check other stores as well for better pricing. Some items might be cheaper at other stores sometimes.

New store blows. Cut down physical media by about 85 percent. I was blown away. Asked staff and they said most of it got returned to head office. Sad state of affairs.
