I wasn’t planning on searching this particular store for the Black Friday Freezer deal I had been searching for online. I was told by another retailer, that the Frigidaire I wanted wasn’t in stock anywhere, and I wouldn’t be able to expect it delivered until the end of January. I was pleasantly surprised to see it sitting in JD furniture and saw it was also on sale for the same price as “L” offered. What was different though, was no free delivery, or save the sales tax. This was when Matthew appeared. Friendly, knowledgeable and focused. He told me that this store has a price match policy and he would check if they would include the free delivery. The would!! I bought it then and there while Matthew filled me in on the stores long history in Quebec. It arrives next week!! I’m thrilled, and will check this store first (after doing my homework) before buying elsewhere. Fingers crossed the delivery arrives when they say it will. I will update if there are any issues.

Update: Issue was resolved very quickly I ended up getting a refund for the difference and the service changed. I would like to thank the employee who went beyond to help me, and will now be my direct contact at this store. Disappointing experience with customer service through both phone and online chat channels. The staff encountered demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy. It appears that there might be room for improvement in this regard, which could potentially be attributed to regional differences. The knowledge base of the sales team regarding their products appeared to be limited, as evident from misinformation provided during my inquiries. This subsequently led to inconveniences upon delivery and necessitated a visit to the store for an exchange. It's worth noting that the store's policy regarding refunds or price adjustments seems to be restrictive. Furthermore, the quality of the products received did not meet my expectations

Service is great while you're shopping (they are salespeople after all), but as other reviewers have said, customer service stops after payment. I was provided a date that I would receive a phone call to pick up my furniture. I didn't hear from anyone so I called end of day. I was on hold for 35 minutes and had to speak to 3 different people just to ask if could I pick up my order or not. For the next 3-4 days, I was told repeatedly that it would be in the next day and that I could expect it then. I gave up and several days later followed up again, just to be told "oh it's here... I don't know why you didn't receive an email." Also the guy who brought it out to my car was reckless and had no respect for other people's property, causing a chip on my car as a result. Lastly, the photos shows that the furniture was covered all over in orange/brown soot. Every single bag. Would not purchase again.

Fantastic store! Was looking for a couple of new chairs and a bed frame but found most stores to be too expensive and sold very uncomfortable items. RD Furniture had way more comfortable chairs and the prices were amazing in comparison. It was a bit of a drive from where we live but totally worth it. First time a radio add actually helped us lol! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (and even bilingual), and they really try to give the best deals. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a couch, chairs, bed, tables, etc… They even had bean bag chairs that go in the water?! Never heard of those before but they had them haha. I’ll definitely be going back! Can’t wait for our furniture to arrive in the next few days! Will update the review once they arrive.

Honestly has been the best and smoothest experience buying furniture in my entire life. Since opening in Orleans my family and I have made three different purchases at the store (sofas, dining set, and bed frame) and the customer service provided is unmatchable. Michel was knowledgeable, clear, helpful, and ready to explore and provide options for our needs while being incredibly kind in the process! Our in-store experience was great but the after-purchase experience was horrible. Our couch was delivered with the wrong legs + missing pieces. You cannot get ahold of anyone to help resolve your issue, you need to submit an online request which they say can take 7+ days to reply! And then I will still need to wait for my couch legs!!!! When there is a serious issue you should be able to talk to someone to get it resolved ASAP. I now cannot use or assemble my couch and all I can do is sit and wait. They have horrible costumer service.

We bought a refrigerator and range at the Orleans store and are very pleased for the whole experience. The purchase was easy with no pressure and every questions were answered professionally by Sebastien. Then the delivery was done without any issues. Very happy that we could be served in French by both salesperson and delivery guys. We will definitely go back to this store if we need more appliances and will recommend to family and friends without hesitation. Thank you for making our experience one of the best! This company offers beautiful pieces of furniture for a discounted price compared to others like the brick and Dufresne. Seems like it's surplus furniture that they buy and resell. They offer payment plans for the furniture. The furniture looked to be of good quality. There were couches, office chairs, and tables that I noticed. The staff were welcoming and friendly. If you are in the market for new furniture at a reasonable cost, I recommend this place.

I was disappointed that for a $60 delivery they won’t take the wrapping off and help me set it up. I live alone and the help would be nice. Also i tried to call the store on Mer Bleu to set up my delivery time, but you get a totally French head office with no English option. I need to be able to call the store directly. The prices are fair, I hope the quality is there since it is. Canadian made. Time will tell.

Amazing quality and service!! Sebastien helped us pick out the washer and dryer suite that best suited our budget and needs for our new home. Just walked in and I was greeted right away. Asked me few questions and left me look around without feeling pressured which is great when you are looking few options. Matthew was very professional and helped us by answering our questions, measured the pieces for us and at the end we felt so comfortable with him that we bought 2 couches from him instead of one that originally came for.

Had an excellent experience at Meuble RD in Orléans on Thursday afternoon. Johnny was super friendly, helpful and not pushy at all. He was around when we needed him, without following us around everywhere we went. He was able to give us a wonderful price for our budget. We'll be back for sure. We have not yet received our furniture, but our instore experience was top notch!!

The place looks like it's going out of business, the staff was friendly. But only on my way out did I hear there was a promotion. So I didn't turn around to go find out the details since I had been there 30 plus minutes and no one mentioned it to me. As for the quality of the furniture I'm still not sure if it's better or worse than Ikea.

Five star sales experience in store however the after sale service is terrible. Items were damaged out of box and the replacement that was delivered was the wrong piece and they refused to take it back. Now I'm left waiting a week later with no resolution. Not acceptable.
