Did a lot of shopping as its a festive season and there is huge sale on a lot of good items. But, what was outstanding at MHJ was the customer service and that warming and welcoming attitude is what one always receives there. Specially, at this time of year there was higher volume of staff present at the store and each and every person was super nice and welcoming. Sue (in the photo), helped me find what I liked and suited me best. I can't forget her impression of giving smiling gesture and smart suggestions. They showed items without me having to wait, gave extra discount and also offered to clean all my rings (bought from MHJ and also those which were bought from different stores), in fact they complimented me on the rings which were bought from a different store and were gifted by my husband years ago. That shows genuine care that they have, which makes their customers be pleased with them and causes them to continue to come back to them. Kudos MHJ! Continue to keep that heart winning attitude towards your customers!!

After visiting multiple jewelry stores, looking for an engagement ring, I randomly walked into Michael Hill at Sunridge Mall. I didn’t expect how helpful everyone was at this store. The store staff had smiles on their faces and I was greeted in a warm friendly manner. The store manager (Raouf) helped me out with the sale. He was incredibly nice and well informed in what he was selling. This guy’s knowledge about jewelry and diamonds is second to none. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for better service. Prior to visiting Michael Hill, I visited competitor jewelry stores. 1 thing that was a common theme was the attitude of take it or leave it at other stores. Raouf went out of his was to explain and answer each of my questions in detail. Purchasing a proper wedding ring or any jewelry is like an investment. I highly recommend anyone reading this to personally go and meet Raouf for their jewelry needs. You don’t be disappointed.

Staff are incredibly pushy. I was very uncomfortable trying to look at a piece and trying to find out about the price and any black Friday sales and discounts. Clerk bombarded me with financing options and special ordering and whatnot, before I could even find out the price of the item I was interested in. She kept repeating financing options i did not even ask for, and pinned me down for 15min doing the math on monthly payments trying to push me into buying on the spot. She also aggressively asked me a bunch of questions about my job and employment status, which is frankly none of her business. She was talking so fast I had trouble following and kept repeating information i didn't ask for over and over. I was glad when I finally got away from her and definitely won't be coming back. I don't appreciate pushy, cheap car dealer sales tactics.

I honestly believe that this Michael Hill location is the best one in the city. As others have mentioned below, Selena is a sweetheart and works hard to make her customers happy. The other young woman who works here is also very kind and offers prompt and straightforward service. I docked a star due to a male staff member (who wasn't helping me at the time) helping another couple with his mask pulled down to his chin during a recent visit. With these present uncertain times, we can't help but be a little more mindful right? The two women who helped me were always following protocol though and made me feel very safe and comfortable.

Disappointed! My fiance and I came in to check out wedding bands, nobody welcome us, while looking at bands for few minutes in front of a sale associate helping another customer and he did not even look at us. I completely understand they are busy sometimes and can't pay attention all customers (there were max 6 people in store with us), but I would expect apologize for waiting and asking for a minute or anything! but there was a lack of interest. Apparently, if you do not wear 2 carat diamonds on your hand you are not welcome.

The salesman was attentive, however a bit pushy. Seemed like he was trying to get us a good deal but we discovered he was lying. He said the earrings we really wanted weren't on sale and that we could use a coupon to bring down the price $50. Once we left the store were looked online and found that the earrings we wanted were actually on clearance and that the deal we were offered was actually $100 more than we would pay online. Please check online prices before falling for a 'good deal' from this location.

I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY! Please do not waste your money with this company! It is crucial to be educated on the quality of diamond you are buying. They sell extremely low quality diamonds for an exceptionally high price. It is best to do some research prior to shopping for a diamond. If you ask for the diamond specs and compare on the quality spectrum, you'd be surprised! I have had numerous headaches dealing with Michael Hill, SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!

Had a very poor experience at the Peoples across the hall. Walked into this location and was greeted by Selina with a friendly smile. She went above and beyond to make our experience a great time for myself and my significant other. She gave us lots of time to look at rings and went over details of what would work best for us. She took her time, and not once did I feel rushed even though they were busy. I would recommend this location to anyone.

We have spent thousands of dollars over the years at Michael Hill. Never had an issue before. Yesterday was the worst customer service experience we have ever received. The sales person we were dealing with called me a liar about the cost of an item I had purchased in the past.. she would not pull up our sales history to verify. Long story short, will never support their business in the future.

When I gave my contact info to call me back for a repair, the lady wrote all my info down incorrect and made fun of my native name. When I called to find out why I haven't heard back for over 6 weeks the person who answered was laughing hysterically three times over the incorrect name errors also making fun of me. Super rude and disrespectful to my culture and I will never go back.

Purchased a necklace extension from this location a month ago and the clasp failed. The first person I talked with couldn't be bothered to help, told me to go next door, because I hadn't purchased the service plan and it would be quicker. So I walked over to another staff member and they were great, in under 5 min she had it fixed and I was out the door.

Had so much fun and great experience at Michael Hill Sunridge last week. I was looking for a specific earrings and Sarah knew exactly what i was looking. She was so nice and friendly. She was knowledgeable and now i know something about diamonds. I will definitely come back and will recommend her to my family and friends.

We just wanted to get an idea of how much it would cost to get new wedding bands for us. Melinda attended to us and gave a great deal and breakdown of all the numbers. They have a sale going on currently so the prices and payment plan was better than I thought. Nice experience overall

Michael Hill staff are friendly and wonderful specially Sarah i love how she interacted with me, showed some design and suggested some similar item that I’ve been looking for. I have a good customer experience with her and make my visit Amazing and great experience.

The Service was excellent! Sarah was able help me find the perfect necklace, provided many options regarding the extra pcp and financing options. Overall she did a great job, I am so very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be back to shop there..
