"Great park for the whole family and pets"
A friend took me here once, and I fell in love with it. He told me that apparently the residents that live around the outside rim of the park that have put their own money into it, and the upkeep of it. It has become one of my favorite parks not just in riverside, but in Jax!!
Dog-friendliness
They had a wood post with a dispenser for bathroom baggies for the pups
I walk here to sit in the shade and meditate almost every day. I don't know why, but it feels like I'm the only person that ever walks into the park to just "be". I haven't ever been anything but alone here. It's nice. But, other people should be enjoying this cozy little oasis. In the neighborhood.
Good place to see native plants you can use for landscaping. Wish they had a bit larger signs for the plants, and a few of the plants I was interested in did not have signs. Overall nice park would recommend for people wanting to know what native plants will love like in their yard.
A great place to see native plants flourishing. Almost all of the plants are labeled, so you can learn more about them and see what each plant looks like throughout the year and consider which ones might be a good addition to your own yard.
Great park for the whole family and pets. Free, accept donations, please give freely so they can keep up the maintenance, it's an awesome park, lots to learn about plants and native animals. No bikes, skateboard and the sort.
Just a walk up park with Native Florida plants. No parking. Mostly just a neighborhood corner park with a few benches to relax. No bathrooms No playground Yes benches Yes Florida Native plants identified with on-site labels.
Nice pocket park with native plants. I suggest regular visits so you can observe seasonal changes and see what's in bloom.
Awesome campsite has two sliding rocks but gets really wet in the morning bring extra shoes socks and clothes
This is one of Avondale's many "pocket parks" but it is tended by neighbors and filled with native plants.
Lovely little park in Avondale with native plants that is a welcome respite in a busy area
Great little park. The plants it has are supposed to attract butterflies.
Such a cute little park with a PokeStop and a gym for the Pogo players.
Very small and cute park. Lots of plants, a bench, and a picnic table
Loved seeing all the native plants of Florida. All were well labeled.
