1 star is only because google won’t allow me to go lower than that...my story is, I bought a chain for my daughter in last year around this time in march or April...everything went fine and I also got same kind of chain for me in September last year, which still I have the receipt for...my daughter’s chain broke in December and I took it there to solder it and he charged me 10$ which was kind of ok for me...After 3 months end of March my chain got broke at almost the same place where my daughter’s got broke...In the following week My daughter’s chain got broke again exactly at the same place...I gave them a call since shops were closed due to Covid 19 and they told me I can bring it to them once shop is open...I waited until May 14 , which is today I took both the chains there to fix it...CSR, a nice lady try to cover up their inability to give customer good quality gold or their inability to fix things perfectly said its hollow inside and that’s why it keeps breaking...I showed her my wife’s chain, which is exactly the same design that I bought from INDIA in November 2017 for my marriage, which never had any issues until now...And she took it an older guy who I think is the owner and came back with a $40 bill just to fix it by soldering...when I said I bought it there and fixed the same complaint almost 4 months back for 10$, she gave it a second thought and again went the older guy and came back with 30$, which I thought ridiculous especially in the middle of this crisis... I just left the place and CSR try to convince me otherwise...Any way long story short, DON’T SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THIS PLACE...EITHER IT’S CHEAP QUALITY GOLD OR CHEAP WORK...WON’T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE...THERE IS LOT OF OTHER JEWELRY STORES IN NORTHEAST...TRY A DIFFERENT STORE WHERE THEY VALUE THEIR LONG TERM CUSTOMERS.

I went to repair a gold chain on june 3 ,2021 and they told me that they will fix it on next day. I told the staff that i will come and pickup on Saturday. I went to the shop on Saturday around 12 noon and first one lady told that it is not fixed yet and ask me to come back at 3pm. I asked for the reason for not fixing she replied that the person doing this job ws sick and couldn't do the repair. So i asked to give the chain back to me so that i can go home, at that time the sales lady went back to the back office , came back and told me that the chain is fixed and it is in a locker and the person authorized to open the locker will be at the shop in 30 minutes. Came back they gave me the chain back ( fixed) . I understand sometimes we forget things but telling lie after lie is not a good idea. Not satisfied

The owner is more interested in giving free insults to the customer rather than showing some courtesy and try to see what customer is looking for. We went there to look for some Jewellery and he told us that we shouldn't be shopping in this cold weather. If you are reading this review maybe you should not open your store in this cold weather. Also, the owner doesn't get the fact that people have jobs to go to and they can come only after they finish their work because one of the other advice he had was that it was too late to come for shopping well if you don't realize that I checked your timing before starting from my home. So maybe even change your timing so that people know that they should not come to your store after they finish their work.

Would not recommend going in to sell or buy jewelry from this store. Took in some gold to get a quote for the worth of the gold shown. This store told us the gold we showed them was about $1,100 less than what the other 2 gold stores in their area quoted us. Their reasoning was that the "labour" charge of 25% to 30% comes off of the value of the gold being sold - understandable. The other gold stores said the same thing but quoted us the worth of the gold shown to be a little over $1,100 more. I understand if there's a couple hundred dollars difference in the quotation, but a whole $1,000 plus is quite shocking.

I visited the store this week, was not happy with the service as their jewellery maker messed up my whole order i was not happy but the customer service lady i guess baljinder or balwinder not sure what her name was, she’s been working their for 15 yrs, provided a very good customer service she tried her best to fix the order thou it was not her mistake i knw, i was not happy and i m not but i understand we all make mistakes, but although she did a good job. Thank u bal, i’m not sure if i will ever come back to this place but if i ever will u are the reason i will shop back because of your customer service.

Worst experience getting my chain repaired. My chain loop was damaged so i took for repairing. The owner took the broken loops which he didnt repaire but kept and charged me additional $30, now whenever i wear the chain, it keeps opening and falling off. He used cheap quality loop as replacement which keeps opening, i took back 3 times but no change, so i basically ended up using more then $50 just for small repaire and still not able to use my jewellery. Would have taken to other jewellery store if the owner didnt take the original broken loop at first place. Avoid this place

They are all thieves. I don't recommend anyone to shop here because they say one thing and they do different things. We brought few jewelries to fix but they didn't fix one and charge us the full amount. They said it will cost more to fix one. She gave us an estimated amount to fix the jewelry before we left our items but then now she is asking for more money. Don't leave expensive items with them otherwise they will sell it to someone else and then they will oh sorry you didn't leave the items with us. Be aware of this place.

I went to Sonali Jewellers to sell some of my gold jewellery that my mom gave to me as inheritance.They showed me the entire process from start to finish and paid me fair market value for my gold jewellery and I was very much satisfied with them. I would definitely recommend anyone needing to sell their unwanted jewellry. The jewellery stores was very clean and definitely surpassed my expectations.

I wish I would have never entered that door, Koh Noor jewellers are way nice and went over and beyond expectations. When we bought our jewellery from Sonali Jewlers the staff was super nice. The moment we had to exchange they showed their real side, charged $200 over. And because of our Muslim dressing they showed us what racism is. It was shocking behaviour. I would recommend not to go there.

Had a beautiful experience at Sonali Jewellers, me and my mom came in to purchase some items and the selection is very extensive! So many stunning pieces to choose from! This shop is such an expensive seller. I do not recommend them at all! The staff and manager are so rude. AWFUL EXPERIENCE: 8 * 5G coin for $430 each was sold to me for $490 total of $3920!! I returned them in less than an hour when I realized it was expensive. They refused to return them and told me we could buy them for $400 each!!! $90 less, $720 less! Can you believe it?!
