"Fantastic place, love walking my Lab Shankly there, kept well trimmed and plenty of other friendly dogs with walkers too, a good hour to an hour and a half it can take seeing the lakes, glasshouse and plenty of fields to let your dogs run free"
This park is always beautiful in any season, my favourite local, nearest park in Liverpool, UK. You can find nearby to Everton Stadium. Great to have a nap, picnic there during summer, or just to have a nice walk or play football on the field, or brilliant just to have there a jogging, running or yoga session for example.;) :)
We had a wedding here, and even though I have driven past it a few times, I never really paid too much attention. What a fabulous place. Really beautiful building and grounds. The staff who worked there were really polite and it was all in all a very good and magical day. Would recommend weddings and other functions. More
What feels like the a key place in Liverpool. Stanley Park, separating Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs gives a breath of fresh air for everyone who go through. The Park has a friendly atmosphere with whoever you past and is great place for a day out in the sun if that takes your fancy.
Stanley Park is one of my favourite venues to visit, relax and meet up with friends. for park. There is also a café in the park which I visited with friends. However service this afternoon was very poor due to café being understaffed in my opinion. for café …
Fantastic place, love walking my Lab Shankly there, kept well trimmed and plenty of other friendly dogs with walkers too, a good hour to an hour and a half it can take seeing the lakes, glasshouse and plenty of fields to let your dogs run free.
It's such a lovely park, loads of green space, beautiful trees, some nice gardens, gorgeous brigdes and bandstand type structures. Then came the lake, omg, the rubbish was terrible, everywhere you looked were discarded can, bottles, carrier
This is an awesome park with more than enough friendly faces, I take my Frenchie Spud here quite often. There are a lot of other dogs to socialise with so it's great for him. We especially love going through the botanical gardens and seeing
We went as part of hospitality with LFC tickets. The food was lovely- was a set 3 course meal, the conservatory got very warm on a sunny day. Staff were friendly and it was only a short walk to Anfield. Had a lovely day x
Was absolutely beautiful when we stayed in cyble Road and Stanley Park was too had lovely we walk round it couple of nights in a row with the family... any 1 we met where salt of the earth just like ourselves in Belfast
Just been out here for the first time and picked the right time too. Quiet, not many people about so it's perfect to simply wander. The Anfield stadium is simply incredible as well as the avenue remembering the 96.
Spent the afternoon here on a freezing cold day in January, passing a few hours. Parked in the carpark near the Liverpool football stadium. Quiet and clean on our visit. A few dog walkers. Well sign posted.
Beautiful green space within the city of Liverpool. Flanked by two major football stadiums Anfield LFC and Goodison EFC. Sprawling lawns, lakes, bridges, winding paths and gazebos all make for a
Nestled between Goodison Park (Efc) and Anfield(LFC) huge place, open spaces, wooded areas, huge lake you can walk right round, you can fish, play sport, or just relax. Worth a visit.
Beautiful park well maintained, the children's play area was lovely plenty of seats and clean, full of happy children, a lovely couple of hours and need to go back to see some more
Went with my daughter and grandson for a football presentation. Really lovely place. Great night was provided, including food, bingo, etc. Staff were really helpful and efficient.
Great breakfast, nice and fresh. (Although bacon too well done for my liking) still enjoyable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It will not be long before I visit again.
In addition to playground, there are picnic areas where families can enjoy a meal or snack with plenty of tables and benches, and some of them are located in shaded areas.
Beautiful and peaceful park. We can get some fresh air by walking there. Also we can walk from Anfield Stadium to Goodison Park Stadium (or vice versa) through this park.
A really pleasant walk between two great football communities. The open space is a great area to relax away from the noise and crowds around each stadium.
Lovely open space on a lovely sunny day, the park is well maintained with some interesting historic buildings, views of both Anfield and Goodison stadiums
This place has been a local haven for me during lockdown and a bereavement. It’s only 10 minutes walk from my front door, so very handy.
Stanley park lays between both football grounds. Annfield on one side and Everton on other. It gas large grass area.
