  • "Lovely dog park! All the dogs love playing here"

"Excellent - sports centre, swimming, gym, activities etc, tennis centre and courts, athletic stadium and tracks, synthetic football pitches, grass pitches, wide open parkland (called the "mystery") for walking, jogging, cycling etc, parking and access to all is easy for all, especially disabled etc, Well maintained, easy access to nearby, shops, cafes, pubs etc, highly recommended!"

"It's OK, same old paths are water logged along with grass either side"

"Parking fir the astro pitches is horrendous there needs to be more and you also need changing rooms for football pitches nearer to the pitch and you need more pitches that will give more scope for more games and more teams to play here plus more revenue for the centre the other car parks by the tennis courts could do with updating too"

"Great open spaces near to the swimming baths and sports centre"

Lovely dog park! All the dogs love playing here. There's no picnic area so avoid bringing food unless you want the doggos taking it... Then again only an absolute fool would picnic on grass where dogs are playing. There's a sports centre with gym swimming and other sports There's tennis courts and tennis centre opposite is a stadium with running track and other track and field sports. There's also a part for football in the closed off cages on the 4G pitches. Also a little playground area too massive but ideal for kids. Great local park.

It's OK, same old paths are water logged along with grass either side. Council don't seem bothered as been like this for years so take your wellies. Sometimes their is an expensive coffee cart. Small children's play area. Mainly used for pushing prams, walking dogs and sports. It would be nice to have an enclosed dog excersize area. And more poop bins for such a large park.

Great open spaces near to the swimming baths and sports centre. Only negative is the lack of a children's play area. There was one situated where the car park for the swimming baths is now but they haven't replaced it. Great place to kick a ball about or go for a walk/run with distances and suggested routes posted around the paths.

Not used playground myself as my children all grown up, however, abit concerned that playground has not a fence around it to protect children from dogs that roam around and on playground. Obviously funding must play a part but as a dog owner and a parent i can see it would make sense to encircle play area with a gate and fencing.

Very pleasant park to stroll around. Great for dog walking especially during the day. Athletics ground and 5-a-side pitches offer some illumination into the evenings, but it is very dark in places and almost pitch black with the floodlights turned off later on, so best take a torch if walking late at night.

Being close to where I live is a reason love this park. But in truth the more time I spend in it the more I love it. It has a great vibe during the weekend. Especially in the sun. Lots of family groups. Has a 5km route mapped out. The leisure centre caters for almost every sport.

The playground is rather sparse, not much here really. Still it's a great place to stretch your legs or walk your dog, and not to crowded either. I like to come to watch the Sunday league footy games on the main pitch, and the smaller teams on the rough grass pitches.

Good gym and sports facilities, clean and a great place if you like s daily swim. Various classes are available and a reasonable price. Part of "Lifestyles",so if you are a member here, you can use their other facilities in the city.

Great open space. Room for kids to play on the fields and plenty of paths for cyclists and runners. Defined 5k route with good signage. Close to the running track and the all weather football pitches of the Aquatics lifestyle centre.

A great place for all Fantastic for outdoor and indoor leisure. A lovely evening stroll through the park. Or maybe a day to exercise the dogs, have a game of football Or just enjoy a day out. Or maybe enjoy the activities inside

Always good to take a stroll on a sunny day. Plenty of space for social distancing and yet have loads of people enjoy a good walk. When the sun is shining, great place to be outdoors in the park.
