One of the worst decisions I have ever made. I brought a vintage engagement ring in to be repaired that had been damaged and a side marquise diamond was lost. Although the ring was very delicate and vintage (from the 1930s), I was assured it could be repaired/rebuilt and the marquise diamond could be replaced and it would look as good as new. Upon completion, the prongs on the main diamond were replaced with large standard prongs (instead of the dainty vintage ones I had), one of the side marquise diamonds apparently cracked during repair and they had simply glued it back together, the gold setting had been visibly and poorly patched, the replaced marquise diamond was much smaller than the other 5 marquise diamonds, and the ring overall was not symmetrical and looked “botched” or very poorly and visibly repaired. I asked to speak with the owner before paying for my ring, and the sales associate told me he was not in and would call me. The following day I spoke with him for over two hours during two separate phone calls. He disagreed with the quality of the work, said it looked fine to him, bragged about his superior knowledge of the industry, continually refused to agree to meet with me in person, told me he believed I would try to steal my own ring if I met with him in person, said I was not allowed to bring any family with me to meet with him in his store, verbally abused me, and told me he had taken my ring home with him and that in order for me to ever see it again I would need to pay his fee or he would sell it. After basically pleading to meet with him for over two hours, he met with me in the store later that day but refused to let me see the ring again until I paid. I had asked a mall security guard to accompany me to the store, and he rambled for nearly 45 minutes about the poor quality of my ring and how no one in the city could have repaired it better before finally announcing that he would take a 20% discount off the cost. I paid and left with my ring and have now contacted the original jeweler in New York to order a replacement setting and two new marquise diamonds.

If I could give negative stars I would. NEVER I repeat NEVER go here. My boyfriend bought a ring for my birthday and we had to get it resized. Once resized I noticed the stones were very loose and I could turn them. I mentioned this to the sales lady who said that was how the ring was supposed to be. After a week and a half low and behold the stone fell out. All they could tell me at the store was that the ring was "not an everyday ring" and that the lady that had sold it to us was fired because she wasn't good so it wasn't their fault. Getting a new stone was like pulling teeth. When I finally received the new stone I took it to a gemologist who noted the significantly lower quality of stone. When the gemologist called the store on multiple occasions they took a message and never returned her call. I have got the ring tightened multiple times to avoid losing the stone. A week after a tightening I lost a stone at dinner, an eating dinner with my family, nothing strenuous, sat down to eat and noticed it was gone afterwards when I got home. It has now been 6 weeks since I dropped off my ring and all I hear when I go on is the stone should be here. Oh right then if you ask questions and then get angry at their 0 answers they ignore you and call security. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE!!

The staff have been very pleasant and helpful each visit. I wish I had read the reviews before buying my wedding rings from this place. Ouch!!! I could write a book about our experiences but, very long story, very short; It's a good thing I bought the life time warranty as I have lost 6 stones from the band of my ring... in about 6 weeks! They messed up on my husband's ring as well and we had to go to extreme lengths to for them to make it right (security was called, it was not ok!!) They did end up ordering him a new ring and it fits perfect! I waited a long time to write this review in hope it would get better and that it was all in the past... but I am making weekly visits at this point to have diamonds replaced and dealing with the owner is not pleasant and it's becoming a huge headache to get it fixed now....the worst part about the whole thing is because of the poor quality I will be dealing with this forever through warranty issues!!! Such a sketchy jewellery store avoid at all costs, even to get a battery changed. I used to go to the kiosk but they retired so I thought I'd give this place a chance. I brought 3 watches to get batteries changed and the total price was $31.50 which I paid up front. One of the watches back was being hard to close, so I was told to leave it with her and come grab it another day since I was in a hurry too... but lived near. I was told the watch was ready so when I came to pick it up I was surprised with a $50 bill with her stating "I had to send it out to get it professionally closed". I never gave her consent to send it out nor got a call before it was sent out that it needed to be sent out. I would've told her leave my watch the way it is and I'll come pick it up. Now she's held my watch hostage and will probably try and sell it in the store so don't be surprised if you come buy a watch that she's hasn't held hostage from other customers she went ahead and did the work without the customers consent or approval.

No phone calls, No updates nothing. Went to pick it up 2 different times on my only break during the day and nothing again no-one called to up date Than the obtuse sales woman when I picked up kept trying to tell me I should be thankful cause of the price...........it was the same as when I dropped off and was quoted . No discounts No apologies I will never be back even if I had to lay twice as much to fix what they did i won't be back and will tell EVERYONE HOW YOU OPERATE

Beautiful work! My boyfriend proposed to me and the ring was too big. I needed it resized. I live in Red Deer and they are located in Calgary. I didn't have time to leave my ring there for a week. So they compromised and did it in ONE DAY! I was impressed! Very informative, wonderful people. :) I had amazing conversations with them. And they even cut me a deal. I would definitely reccomend them. The ring was done beautifully. It is also a double band ring and we bought another one that needed to be resized. So 3 ring resized and ready to go in one day!!!

THE MANAGER ASSAULTED ME IN THE STORE WHILE HIS WIFE HELD MY PHONE HOSTAGE BEHIND HER BACK, BEHIND THE COUNTER AND REFUSED TO RETURN IT. Security had to be called, then the police, and then my lawyer, and then the mall's marketing manager, and then the BBB. Shortly I'll be uploading the recording of (most of) this happening... before the woman working literally snatched my phone out of my hands from behind the counter) ALL OVER THE INTERNET.

I took my wife’s watch in to have the crystal changed out and a new battery installed. It’s been two months.They lie to you. They said that it would be back two weeks ago. I burned the gas to go get it. It wasn’t there. They lie to you. Terrible service. AVOID at all costs. UPDATE. I just called the store and the watch still isn’t back. I told them to bring it back NOW and I’m not paying them a dime.

I was just in there baught a necklace for my wife, my mom told me she already baught the same style and I went right back to return it and she kept telling me that the system doesnt work you cant return it, and after I told her to try it, by some miracle the system worked for the refund lol never going back

Don't go near this place, they sold us an emerald bracelet and soon after the stones started falling out. Because it was a gift I didn't have the receipt so they would not honor their warranty. The owner is a stone cold B**ch, who obviously doesn't like her job, she should not be in the jewelry business.

This store is horrible, they took $1000 from me and said my credit ran out because I returned a ring and they gave me 3 months to spend the credit during a worldwide pandemic. They will be hearing from my lawyer, I would not use this jewelry store they are crooked liars.

Dealt directly with Serge, I ordered online and ordered the wrong thing. He called me and we got it all straightened out and he even gave me a discount because of the confusion (that I caused myself). Would definitely deal with Serge and W.Royce Jewelers again!

absolutely awful. the lady behind the counter has ZERO idea what customer service even means. do not waste your time here, they are overpriced and rude. will never come back here, not to purchase, not for repairs. NOTHING. wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Last year had a ring on layaway and had put close to $400 down on it. Fell on some hard times and decided to just get a cheaper ring that left us sound a $70 credit....went into the store today and was told that my credit expired in June.

Awful customer service - the lady working at the store even stuck her fingers into my wallet to grab a slip. Wow - DON'T Shop here!!! They laughed when I told the lady not to go into my wallet. I was disgusted - will never go back!

I took some earrings in to polish the gold plate off they were sterling silver underneath. Went to pickup and all they did was clean them. Poor communication in that store would not recommend.
