This park boasts some fine trees such as the spectacular Grey Poplars (which can be confused with White in the winter!). There were still fish ponds here decades ago after Dovecot House was demolished and the old Willow tree may be the only reminder. Trees -such as the London Plane at one of the entrances- take us back to the old estate days and carriageways to the mansion house lined with ornamental trees. (The plane tree marks the carriageway halfway point from former entrance to House). Areas of uninteresting grassland have been planted with 'whips', or saplings, that can only add to the Park's interest in the coming years and the young woodland has come on with all the recent rain. The statuesque LIme Tree has shed many leaves as Autumn takes hold.

Great to exercise dogs and safe gated playground for children. Recent issue with dog poo not being picked up and today someone had left a ridiculous amount of bread and I kid you not... meatballs on the floor for I don't know who... seagulls, rats, dogs, drunk people?!?!

the basics, swings, slide, roundabout. Not huge but decent enough.

Lots of open space for dogs, used a lot by dog walkers. Only issue is 6+ separate open entrances so if your dog is prone to running out then it's very easy to.

Great for dog walking. Also has a small park for little ones & a sand play area. There are also exercise apparatus around the park for anyone wanting to have a go

A good one, could be better with a bit more maintenance. I am comparing with parks in Australia. Many people use thus place in the morning.

Good play area for little ones to play. Would like see park in general given more tlc. Restore it back to what it once was

The park looks tired and colour do with a revamp. The equipment is still mostly usable though like the swings.

Local park, well kept, plenty of swings etc for the kids, quite deceiving, good for a local walk

Needsxa good tidy up,glass in kids area,rubbish everwhere,cigarette stubs not very nice at all.

Very good park. Not too crowded usually. Good for a morning Jog or with friends and family.

Fab time at the playground with a 6 year old and 13 month old, kept us occupied for hours

Nice Park but please pick up after your dogs pls to keep it nice + safe for Children.
