Called ahead to confirm an item in stock, associate confirmed on the phone they had the part number (no other Ace in the area had it in stock). Drove 30 minutes across the city to what was labeled Ace but I seriously questioned if I was in the right spot. No noticable front door, had to circle the building once to figure it out and even then I was guessing (hoping) I was going in the right door (surrounded by a black fence and menagerie of plants). Gold star to the associate who immediately greeted me and helped me find the correct aisle and handed me off to the associate working in that area. To my great disappointment the correct item was actually NOT in stock at the store and the associate kept trying to suggest a different part while exclaiming that she had confirmed this other part over the phone. But the part I wanted was very specifically requested on the phone and confirmed. Needed other items but left without purchasing anything because I can ultimately get those elsewhere for cheaper. I am absolutely astounded by the extraordinary service I just received from Kim at Richland Ace Hardware. I went to Ace because I had a stripped screw in the license plate holder on my car and, as always, I knew that they would be more helpful than a big box chain. But Kim did more than simply recommend parts for removing the screw. SHE STOOD IN THE POURING RAIN FOR THE BETTER PART OF AN HOUR AND REMOVED IT HERSELF! I have NEVER had someone in customer service go so far above and beyond to help me out. You just don't see this type of commitment anywhere else. And when it was all said and done, I was only charged $0.56 for two screws. Unbelievable! Kim deserves a raise for creating a truly positive experience, when she could have gotten away with doing a lot less. Thanks Kim!

Today I went in to get a copy of my car key. I must say that I am beyond pleased with the service provided to me. I went to the dealership to get a copy and was told that the price would be $200+; needless to state, I walked out of here only paying $25.00+ tax. There were a lot of difficulties since the remote had epoxy all over it; but they were patient with me and didn't stop until I was a happy customer walking through the door. Thanks every for the A+service.

Richland Ace will never be a Lowe's yet Lowe's does not stock the various plumbing, filters, or oven replacement pieces for Sylvan Park and The Nations original quality homes. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and will order what you need if necessary. You will not have spend any time seeking assistance as they will ask you first. Making a purchase is friendly and quick. As I said, Richland Ace will never be a Lowe's and let's hope it remains this way.

This is an awesome store. My go to for all my gardening needs. I always get my keys made there as well. I don't know what happened yesterday but I had three keys made and none of them worked. I should have checked them against the original key while still at the store but I didn't. I guess my keys got mixed up with someone else's. They were all the same but not the same as original. But I know the will fix it as soon as I take them back without any trouble.

I had terrible customer service today! I paid for two copies of a keys made. The employee must have used an incorrect blank since neither key would even go into the door. Then after spending an hour round trip in rush hour traffic to verify the keys worked and calling to say I was estimated to arrive at 6:59, the employee locked the gate a minute early to prevent me from being served. I will not be back and do not recommend this business!!

was referred to this Ace Hardware by their company website, it said they handled my 2013 car key. Went into the location and spoke with the girl at the front, she said they probably didn’t handle it and that I should go to another local vendor. . I contacted the company they referred me to and they don’t even do car keys anymore. So ace hardware steered me wrong twice, bad service in store and a dud referral.

Order a Timberline XL grill and although I was grateful it was delivered assembled (I didn’t expect that) it was missing wired temperature probes. I called the store and they insisted the newer models didn’t come with wired probes, but I called Traeger customer support who said they do ship with the grills and they would send me out a replacement. I should have just purchased directly from Traeger.

Its NOT the friendly hardware place. First old man pushed me off to the other...then the old man asked me to give him a sec cause hr was with a lady. Ok. Then is up front checking out & yapping w/ someone else instead of telling that person i was waiting. Then he is confused about why i was leaving. Ill take my business & $$ somewhere else.

Always a five-star experience at this store. I'm greeted as soon as I walk in the door and pointed in the right direction for a quick and easy experience every time. Staff is polite, knowledgeable, and an absolute breath of fresh air after trying the big box hardware stores in this town. Small town customer service still exists.

Good customer service. They were very attentive and knew exactly what I was looking for even though I really didn't. I liked how friendly and helpful the staff was during my visit. I would much rather go to them than Lowe's right down the street. I hope others will follow in my footsteps and give them their business.

Owners there are awesome. I own a painting company and they always have everything I need and the customer service associates are 10X more knowledgeable then Home Depot or lowes associates. Will definitely keep going to this Ace for all my painting supplies and any other home improvement needs.

I went to 4 places to try to help me change the battery in my key fob and no where could do it. I come to Richland Ace and both Kim and Ricky could not have had better customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure I left happy with a working key.

Not the biggest, not the best, not the least expensive. But it's a good neighborhood hardware store and it's friendlier than any of the big box stores. And unlike the big box stores there's always someone around to answer questions and to help the customer.

Went to Richland Ace for a hinge-operated door closer. The saleswoman who tried to help me said she never heard of it and they didn't carry them. I then checked the hardware section with hinges and found two different types. I bought the one I came for.

They met me as I entered, and helped me find what I was looking for, a repair part that the big box store down the road didn't have. Then a second person helped me find something else I remembered I needed and chatted with me a minute. They won me over.

I hadn't realized this store was here until I placed an online order for pickup. The staff was so nice and helpful, and the prices are great! My first time definitely won't be my last. Keep up the great work of providing a local feel in a growing city.

Wonderful customer service! I bought a shed without looking at the ship dimensions, wouldn't fit in my car. They got someone to drop it off for me. I live really close but it saved me from having to rent a truck. You wont regret becoming a customer.

I would say it's a mini Home Depot/Lowes... but there is some kind of keys that you cannot get it from Home Depot or Lowes or Walmart... it's really a nice shop and great help from staffs... It's a small store, it's also easy to find stuffs....

I really like this store and the people, but...some of your items are extremely over priced! I stopped in there for some 6” carriage bolts today and they tried charging me almost $8 a piece...same bolt at Lowe’s is $1.28. Highway robbery!
