DO NOT GO HERE! Our storage locker was infested/ defiled by rodents. My husband and I stored all of our belongings here while we were overseas for a year only to open our locker to find rodents had gotten everywhere and destroyed many of our possessions. Based on the extent of damage they had probably been in there all year. There were droppings, nesting materials and urine stains everywhere and they got into almost every box. It was absolutely disgusting. Stains and droppings all over our fabric furniture and mattress, holes chewed through the shells of down winter coats, clothes and towels chewed to shreds. The owners will not be reimbursing us at all despite us being out about $3K to replace damaged items and to have furniture and salvageable clothing professionally cleaned. Not to mention the cost of cleaning materials as we had to manually clean and disinfect literally every item we own - it took weeks and we had a baby on the way so this was a horrible, stressful time for us. I don't understand what we paid them for because they did not protect our belongings. I would not wish what happened to us on anyone else so DO NOT use this storage facility!!!!

When we originally signed up before moving to our unit we were told that we would have 24 hour access to my tools and work equipment. Once moving in we were told access was only 7-5 and there was no way someone told us any different. With threats to go elsewhere the supervisor changed my time to later and worked with me. Now months later after making payments always on time or early we had a finacial hiccup. We phones in the day before payment was due and warned them we could not pay and made arrangement for aa double payment this coming month. They said they would charge late fees but not lock us out of our unit. I phone in today before heading over for some tools and they tell me it's overlocked and I can't have access until payment. They again told us no one would have said that or offered it... Beware they don't care about you and lie. Very poor customer service.

On a recent move from a larger home, I needed a reliable, safe and clean place to store some items while in transition. The staff at the Storage Barn were SO helpful to me in finding the perfect unit for my needs. Sean even called me back many times to update me on what was coming available. This is truly personalized service. Everyone in the office is so quick and efficient and very knowledgeable. The prices are very fair, even for packing items and padlocks in their store. Similar items would be much higher at a big box store. The units are spotless, and the grounds are kept perfectly. I would highly recommend the Storage Barn on Plains Road East in Burlington to anyone. Thank you STORAGE BARN for the great service!

I was super nervous about my big move and about stoping all of my possessions, but Amy was amazing at making me feel comfortable with the process and what to expect. Very happy so far with the people. I did have to deduct one star tho as there are two lips of about 2 or 3” each up from the driveway to my storage unit and I tripped quite badly on it during my move, so perhaps they could put a marker on the edge of the concrete so that this doesn’t happen. Also the lip made it hard to get a dolly up over it and into the unit. But the unit itself and the facilities seem very well maintained otherwise.

LOVE this storage facility. Very decent rate with easy access to my storage unit. HUGE SHOUT OUT TO AMY AND BRENDA. I had a bit item to get into storage and they dropped everything just to open and hold doors for me to make sure I was safe. They cannot say enough about their dedication and hard work and I’m so thankful. There’s no way any other storage facility has employees that would help like this just to open and hold doors, they are really care about their customers and I will continue to rent units from this facility and whenever I need to in the future all because of them. Thank you again !

What a super excellent service! The representative Amee , she is always providing support and assistance to me. She told me all info, walked around the storage with me then let me found one suitable locker to me. And one more thing I must say, I moved my stuff away at Saturday night then planned to tell them on next Monday because I didn't suppose they work on Sunday. But Amee called me on Sunday to ask whether I had moved because she saw my locker was empty and the locks were disappeared. They really have much careness for the security. Thank you so much Amee.

What a professional organization!!!! I have rented many storage facilities and Storage Barn has to be the best. After moving to Burlington, I feel so fortunate to have lucked into finding them. Their personal service is second to none. Their facility is excellent and their pricing is very honest. I was NOT told I had to buy their locks and their insurance as I had experienced at other locations. The price quoted was the price I was charged. Moving can be difficult and the experience I had at Storage Barn made that much more pleasant. Thanks guys!!!

I'm in the process of moving, so of course I needed moving supplies. Stopped in at this gem called SmartStop and I was immediately greeted with a smile. Andreia was so professional and pleasant. She was so personable and even came around the desk and was so eager to help me. I told her I was moving and wasn't sure what I needed and I was so impressed when she immediately knew what I needed to buy. Absolutely awesome storage facility. The manager and staff are great. You get deals on the first few months. And perfect location. Always awesome when you have a good landlord, Period. Not anymore it has been taken over by an American company and the rates are through the roof. No flexible payment option(s). Take your business elsewhere. The units are ridiculously over-priced.

A huge thanks to Burlington Storage Barn for making my experience positive. Rented a unit from August of 2021 to March 2022. Always clean, neat and tidy. And even went over the top and helpful to let me know my locker was left opened by mistake. Now that is service. BEST STORAGE UNITS IN HALTON REGION. I have 2 units of 10x25 for my truck and tools. The staff cares about the site and the customer. I don’t think you can ask for more. Recently we did not put our lock on properly, within 12 hours I was notified. My site was secured by the staff until I returned to put my lock on properly. What a relief that the staff shows this level of engagement on individual locker security.

Excellent and kind customer service, pretty pricy for vehicle storage though. 340ish/month, when surrounding rural areas are a fraction of that. If I'm storing a vehicle for the winter, I'd have no problem driving into the country for a climatized storage unit. Anyways, nice staff, just pricy. Welcome to Burlington I suppose.

This is a belated positive review for the staff and facility. I had a locker here for a few years. The staff were always great to deal with. They were on top of everything. They even noticed when I didn't click my lock shut and called me to make sure that I knew. Nothing but positive things to say! 5/5 Stars from us.

No where on the website, rental agreement or in person was I told this storage locker was 4 feet off the ground. Only found out after I signed the contract and had paid fees. Cost me $18.08 to rent a locker for a few minutes that I could not use. Spoke to Sean C and he said fees were not refundable. Buyer Beware!

We searched extensively for a storage unit in Burlington that was easily accessible & temp controlled...we selected Burlington Storage Barn based on price & location. The staff were always friendly & helpful. Highly recommend this facility.

I started with STORAGE BARN in 2017. Family run business. Never a problem. They all knew me by name. I have had nothing but problems with SmartShop Self Storage. The staff is not friendly. Today I was told I could not get a debt receipt

Amy was amazing during the whole set up process, explaining the fees and how the monthly rent works , and while she was showing us our unit. She was extremely friendly and I would 100% recommend coming here and speaking with her!

We used this facility twice in the last year and a half. We were very happy with the clean, safe facility, and great staff. Every time I drive by I think, if I ever need storage again I am going back to the Storage Barn.

It's a good location but the security is somewhat lacking. Only security is the front gate. All the buildings are unlocked for free access. I think they should have security codes to enter the buildings.
