After having a “NO FAULT” accident my insurance company arranged for the use of a vehicle rental, at the insurance company’s expense, while my vehicle was in the repair shop. Once my vehicle was repaired the rental car was returned and all was good at that time. Unfortunately two business days later a guy by the name of Omar, from Enterprise Rent a Car at 10222-178st in Edmonton Alberta Canada, called me up telling me that the insurance company had not yet paid his submitted rental bill, after just two days, and since they were not talking to Omar he asked me if the rental amount could be charged to my credit card for payment and that I could pursue reinvestment from the insurance company myself. Sounds a little crooked to me as they would most certainly be double dipping for profit. I did “NOT” agree, as recorded on my phone, to any such thing and Omar then” literally” hung up on me. Three days after that call there were multiple unauthorized fraudulent charges pending on my credit card with one amount of $469.56 actually being billed to my credit card. So now they have now billed both my insurance company and me in what appears to be a double billing attempt. I also did a video walk around when I both picked up and dropped off the rental car, Tuesday April 18 - Thursday April 27 of 2023, which everyone should do just in case they try to fraudulently charge for damages that were not done. My phone also records all calls coming in and out of my phone so "YES" there is a recorded record of every conversation that I has had with Enterprise Rent a Car. Learn from my experience. This companies actions added insult to injury in an already traumatic event. Do not use this company and if your insurance has an alternative rental company to use then you should go with that alternative. Enterprise Rent A Car (and its affiliates) is no longer considered to be an honest or trustworthy company. Enterprise Rent a Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car are just three divisions of their parent company named Enterprise Holdings.

However, I do feel that situation could have been handled better, and do not agree with (nor were we told) that the vehicle is our responsibility even when we no longer have the keys and it is on their property. We were refund half the deposit. Recommend that you take pictures at the before you start renting the car, and after you drop it off. **Original** If I could give no stars I would. My company rented a vehicle from them, and since our team was coming in late, they dropped it off after hours. Note that we got damage waiver insurance ($32/day). The next day at 7:30 am we were called and told that the back bumper was damaged, and that we would be charged a $1000 deposit. Thankfully, we had taken pictures, so we call them asked if we could get pictures of the damage, since the pictures we had didn't seem have any damage. We were told that is was up to claims department and they would deal with it and it was out of their hands. We drove to the shop, and again asked if we could see the vehicle, and we were told that vehicle was already in the shop. We showed them the pictures, but again they said that it was up to another department, told us that in the rental agreement it says that the vehicle is the renter's responsibility until an Enterprise person picks up the keys; so in other words, if someone damages the vehicle after you drop it off on their property and you no longer have the keys, it is still your responsibility. Just beware, and keep the vehicle in your possession until the next day.

UPDATE: Enterprise was very quick to respond to my complaint here on google review …. However they continue to not respond or help me to locate my lost sunglasses. I know I forgot them in the rental but just respond so I know to give up looking. But the location was impossible to get ahold in the first plangent to try and find them - multiple calls , no answer , when they did answer said they would call me back , no call EVER! The care center that asked me to contact them also did nothing. They Told me they would have management look into this and contact me. It been weeks and nothing. The response below from enterprise is disingenuous and poor service. Just terrible service and frustrating overall. Even drop off was painful with only 2 really slow people working and not place to just do drop off. I will not rent from here again. Original post:When I picked up the car I got great service but it was downhill from there. Dropping off the car took forever , understaffed and too many customers waiting with people taking forever. Don’t try calling for anything they never answer the phone. I called multiple times as I left a pair of $300 sunglasses in the rental. These apparently were not found when the vehicle was cleaned. I was told the car was rented out and they would call the current renter. They never called me back. I called multiple times and never received a call back. The last call I made they told me there was a note on my file and they would check when the vehicle was returned. Again, I never received a call back either way. Terrible service.

So frustrated with Enterprise! My SUV (Hyundai Tucson) is getting repaired after it was damaged from an accident. From my understanding, I should be provided with a rental vehicle that is equivalent in size to my vehicle. First, they wanted to give me a sedan (uh no!). Secondly, they gave me a Mazda CX-3 that had tire pressure issues. I have a baby and preferred they gave me a vehicle that wasn’t having any issues. They were very friendly and gave me a different vehicle; However, the issue is about the size of the vehicle. They gave me a Hyundai Venue. I can’t fit my stroller in it, groceries, and everything else I have to haul around.I was told my vehicle would be repaired in 1 day. Now I’ve been informed that my vehicle is not ready and that I have to stay with the rental until next week. I know this isn’t Enterprises fault, but it’s just so frustrating they gave me a vehicle that is significantly smaller then my Tucson. What were they even thinking?!! Have this policy changes? It doesn’t make any sense to give someone a vehicle that is not equivalent in size. Obviously I didn’t chose to rent a car for leisure purposes. UPDATE; after multiple calls, to this location and other locations. I was told I could be switched out into something bigger. I returned the Venue and got a Ford Escape (def similar in size to my personal vehicle). The assistant manager was incredibly helpful! Really wish I had received this kind of service in the first place, but nonetheless, I am thankful.

I have dealt with Enterprise before and the experience was normally good. This time it was abysmal. They were given 3 weeks notice by my insurance company that I would need a rental vehicle. As a "service" to my insurance provider, TD insurance, they pick the replacement vehicle. My insurance policy provides for a rental vehicle in case of an accident and the policy states that I receive a vehicle that is of "like kind and quality". In their wisdom they felt that a Nissan Versa was a replacement for a Honda Civic Touring. This is definitely not the case. The Versa is built to literally be the cheapest vehicle in North America. It was horrible and dangerous drive with none of the safety features my vehicle had and had all season tires, which in my area of the world is dangerous. It was so bad to drive I drove it home and parked it in front of my house and chose other methods of transportation. When I called in to inquire about getting another vehicle I was told "the only thing the matters is the size of the vehicle, not the quality of the vehicle, we don't have a replacement for you at this time but may have something in a few days". While the service up to that point was less than stellar, the lip that I got from their "service" personnel has ensured that I will never use Enterprise again. I hope that your experience is better but it seems that the overall management style has changed at Enterprise. I do not recommend using them

Why is it so hard to get a hold of the location of the store that you choose to do business with. I have tried THREE TIMES to do business with the location i feel has my best interests and now find this is the third time i am getting no where. I am tired of talking to a computer or a system that doesn't involve pressing buttons to speak with a HUMAN. As for the Relationship where canada and usa why is it that we canadian's speak with a american that doesn't even know what's going on in that location. As for Technology, well don't care if you understand it or not but here we will TRADE our Personal Touch for a COMPUTER to assist with the on Going systems that continuously fail us humans. Of course send me to a location that doesn't have a car for me then only to book again and have them tell me , yip should be ready in 15 minutes and $20 taxi ride only to be told sorry your not at this location and we don't even have a car for you. Now about the History of me and my renting from Enterprise never had any trouble, and my rental history goes way back to 2004 not only that they have my Credit Card on file and have trusted them and have no reason to be unhappy. Until today. When we all trade our lives for Computers and technology and money. Forget about the Personal Reason we need to rent.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Their service is absolutely HORRIBLE! The woman (short, wears a head scarf) at the front desk is AWFUL! This is the second time we've dealt with her and she was unpleasant both times. We didn't think much of it the first time since it seemed busy and thought maybe she was just overwhelmed as it was only her and one other employee at the front desk. We dealt with her this past weekend again and this time it was to return a vehicle and she was rude and unpleasant. It felt as though that since we were returning the car, and had already paid, that we weren't deserving of decent customer service. She lied and stated that they weren't running shuttles due to COVID, but we had a shuttle come pick us up to pick up the rental vehicle, and had shuttle services for a rental we had a month or so ago. She stated that no one was available to drive my father home since there was only 2 employees working at the time. She did nothing to arrange a ride back home for my father, and there were in fact more than 4 employees that entered the premises while my father was waiting for a ride. Others at the location are nice, and we've been regular customers at this enterprise location prior to dealing with her but she is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!

I don't understand when I go to get a vehicle I have to pay more insurance and then when I don't want to pay that insurance I cannot rent a car. The accident I had was a hit and run not my fault and yet I'm being ding with all this more money to pay. What is scam this is not fair. I work for a company and they refused me of vehicle because I wouldn't pay After all this time since this incident has happened I could finally say what hurt me. When he was finished asking me if I was going to pay and I replied I don't have the money. He then asked me for three references. at this time in my life I do not have any my friends have moved away from the city. So I do not have any references in the city. and then I told him not to hold this against me. He then asked me again for references and I said I don't have any. Well we can't rent you our vehicle then was his reply. I then walked away got the person who drove me here from The Body Shop who then drove me back to the body shop I went into my van and started driving home. On the way home I started crying and couldn't stop I had to pull off the side of the road for a while. This hurt me bad. And it still hurts.

Booked online a car but none were available and they had to send me across the city to get one. They told me the corp website purposely lies to clients on availability just to get people in the door. The local shop told me they know this and it's a percentage game. "Not real time inventory" Will not ever use again. If you can not trust their website they don't deserve our money. As I finished this review they came running out and a vehicle came in , cleaned it up and saved me a trip across town at least. Local guys get it, and tried to save the bad review, only for it to get worse. But they never saved the details from online so we had to go through it all again. Made the boss come over to even sign in person because they don't do things over phone or a secure website. They don't play nice with Partner websites like Expedia etc. Again if you read this you're more technologically advanced they their systems are. Do not use Enterprise. You have many options. Use ones that know how to use technology and doesn't lie to potential clients. Not ideal for business or their employees use that care about things like getting on the road in timely manner

Avoid this business. They have absolutely the worst customer service. I reserved a vehicle for the next day, in which their site showed plenty of options. The car was reserved for noon on Sunday for a week long trip, when we arrived, the lady at the desk took my name and said there is no car available. The lady said that she tried calling, one time, at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday, and did not leave a message. I asked her if she could help us find another option at another branch and she just said they're all closed now and there might be a different rental company down the street, but is pretty sure they're closed too. And that was it. We had to scramble to find other options, and did, we were helped and offered a better vehicle for a cheaper price at AVIS. The complaint was made to the district manager, but he/she didn't try to reach out so I'll leave this review. I hope it helps the next customer avoid the hassle we did. Try calling more than one time, leave a message if there is something wrong, and actually help your customers, because you did not even try the bare minimum of customer service. I won't be using Enterprise ever again.

This was my first experience with enterprise but have used other rental companies in the past. Unfortunately, one of our vehicles was in an accident so we were introduced to enterprise because they are the "go to" rental for our insurance company. The team at enterprise was surprisingly not what I expected from a rental company. They definitely haven time to be professional and stand out in a good way and I really like that. Not only did I feel like catered to but we received a much nicer vehicle then we expected. When we picked up the vehicle Nana helped us and went through everything, he made it stress free and fun to be getting the keys to this very clean and brand new truck. He was very thorough and checked everything to ensure that I felt comfortable with the current condition. He was so helpful and accommodating that he literally split his pants in an effort to help us and did it with a smile on his face too. In the future, I would not choose a rental car from a group site that compares prices I would just deal with enterprise because of the experience I had over the 3weeks I drove their truck. Thanks ENTERPRISE!

I wish I could give less than 1 star. From the moment I went in to rent my car I was treated as a second class citizen. It was all arranged through insurance. I went in to get my car another person didn't like the vehicle they were given so the manager took the keys to the vehicle they were about to give me and gave them to that customer. I then had to wait while they cleaned out another car. Ok fine. At least they let me pick one vehicle for them to clean. On the way to return the vehicle I got a rock chip in the windshield. Was told I would get a quote from the manager personally. Nope. I did not. Month later I get an invoice for 750 dollars from Enterprise. I call them give them my insurance paperwork and ask them to deal with my insurance company. One month later another letter this time saying I owe 500. Again ask them to deal with insurance. Ten days ago I get a letter saying none of the previous invoices were paid. Contact my insurance and they were paid November 10 and Enterprise accepted. I was also told I'm banned from renting from them. No loss for me!

Enterprise know how to *take* the reservation, they just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them. I showed up to there being no car for me, despite receiving a confirmation and check-in email. They claimed to have “tried” to call me but on reciting back my phone number there was no inclusion of the country code I submitted, so therefore any attempt to call would not have worked - which aligned with their description of “trying” and me not having any missed calls. And they also had my email which they did not use to contact me. But that’s all besides the point: my reservation was confirmed. You cannot confirm a reservation and then not have a car waiting for the customer: this is a failure. No attempt was made to make the situation right (call a different branch/rental company to try and find a replacement? Offer compensation?). I was told there was no car and that was it. Travel plans ruined.

This location is super busy. I had called to asked for a ride from our hotel to Enterprise as they offered that service. We were left waiting for almost 40 minutes, and I had to call back to double check that a ride was coming as I was worried we would miss our booked pick up time. Enterprise apologized and you could tell they are a super busy location, they upgraded our vehicle for us free of charge as we had to wait. When we returned the vehicle once again they were super busy and while they didn’t provide rides after 4 pm, they credited us for our taxi ride back to our hotel. I really appreciate the effort the staff takes to make things easier for their customers. I do think they could use some more staff or perhaps close at a later time rather than 5. It would be easier to be able to return the vehicle after dinner for example around 8. Overall though, I do appreciate the efforts and friendliness from the staff at this location and I would rent again from here

I am not happy with them rent a mitsubichi suv car when reviewing the car with the agent pointed out that the car had a knock on the back door he said is already marked in the report so everything was fine I rented it for a week. clean the car, check it an hour before delivering it, I went to deliver it at night. The next day I received an email with the report that the car that I left at night had a large damage that had happened. I felt as if I had hit the car and left it in the night so that they would not notice, at first that situation made me uncomfortable and worried, so I went to the place to review that great damage, that blow is what already I had commented to the agent in the review before receiving the car keys, I wonder how that can happen, they are supposed to be seriously responsible people who do not take advantage or lie to the clients, for many years happy with their service but with this recent situation very bad moment I'm going through them

I HATE Enterprise but thought I would give this one a chance because of the convenient location. I had a terrible experience 8 years ago (at a different location) and nothing has changed. I used the website to reserve a car. Easy, right? After all, plenty appeared to be available. I got a voicemail wanting to “touch base” about the fact that my “after hours” request couldn’t be honored until the end of the day. Maybe. Or not! Who knows? How is a website request not automated? Why would it matter if it was after their closing time? It is certainly possible for a website to show what is not in stock, as every retailer manages to do that. I also don’t appreciate the implication that the time I chose to make the reservation made it my fault that the website is useless AND that the location was open 5 hours before anyone deigned to contact me. Touch base. Give me a break. Enterprise needs to figure it out at this location and as a company overall. What a joke.

Most annoying thing is recently they've stopped filling the gas tank up all the way for pick up and it's a HUGE pain to try and gauge how much gas you need to put in to get it to 3/4 full to return it. I rent with them all the time for work and staff for the most part have been friendly and helpful. I prefer this location to other west side one and probably would have given them 4 or 5 stars a few months ago but service has gone down a lot lately. My last few visits I've had to wait at least 30mins past my reservation time due to my car being cleaned or needing registration or them having to bring one from another location. I understand there's a car shortage but really wish they would figure out a better scheduling system to ensure timely service like they use to. And fill the gas tanks all the way like they use to! Also beware of the ginormous pothole when entering the lot!!! Cars are clean and nice though.

Had issues with a previous rental and I was given a "one day free rental" card to use in the future. Booked a rental at ERAC because I had this card. I was told to give the free rental card to the location I was dropping the rental off at and they would apply it. My rental was due back on a Saturday by 2pm and I dropped it off earlier but the location was closed at the time so I was unable to give the card to anyone. I called Monday when the location was opened up and explained the situation. They told me they could not apply the free rental as the card was not given to them at drop off; basically told me too bad. They knew I had to return the rental on a Saturday and knew they were closed so totally screwed me. Why try to make things right on a past issue and then screw me over when it comes to a free rental. I will never book a rental through Enterprise again and will be sure to recommend any other company.

Worst car rental in Edmonton. I booked a car for Tuesday, got a call from them on Monday a few mins before closing that they were out of vehicles and couldn’t accommodate my reservation. Called their 1-800 number and apparently the call centre is in South America and there isn’t much they can do but they said they sent my request to their managers. Today is Friday and still no word from them. Called the 178th street branch again as my reservation was there and it’s just been stories every since. I had to scramble to make it for my appointments. I have another reservation booked for next week but suffice it to say that I am just going to cancel it. Literally the worst. Update: I have changed my rating to a 3 because the assistant Manager Suyesh was very accommodating and apologetic. The personnel are good, but the system needs to be fixed and shouldn’t allow folks to book when there are no vehicles available.

Have been renting from Enterprises for a decade or more. Recently had some problem from the insurance rentals but it was looked after. It was the insurance problem. However, it would be nice if it can be explained earlier than waitng/emailing for weeks. Update: With all respects Christina, I have been emailing /calling for weeks since November 4th and I don't think you guys really cares! Even it is mostly Insurance company's problem but it is not hard for you to show me a summary! Also I did not get what I ordered and had to wait for days before giving me a higher line. I was told it's the same cost but obviously it's not when you get the bill. I tried to tell Enterprise this over the phone and whoever was on the other end was very rude and kept asking Who said it WHO WHO? I will be very careful dealing with Enterprise and it is just annoying to see some foamy responses like this without actual helps!

The very worst place to rent a vehicle from. They do not communicate with clients, very poor customer service, they wasted my time and still were unable to give me a car despite my online reservation that was made days ahead. They made me come twice and still had no option for me, I wasted money on Uber making these trips and still got nothing, no apologies or empathy. Instead, they attempted to offer me a very small SUV instead of a standard that I had booked at the rate of a standard SUV, until I called them out on the blonder, and they still were nonchalant. The Managers need to be retrained as they did absolutely nothing to salvage the situation until i became irate, it was only then that I got transferred to the yellow head trail branch that eventually saved the day. I am never using or recommending enterprise to anyone, 178 street branch has ruined it forever!

Had to leave a 150$ deposit with my visa debit card. Wasn't told until after I paid it that the refund comes in cheque form in 2 weeks after the rental is returned. I couldn't afford that wait time but was forced to after not being told how things work first. Then was charged almost 3$ per liter to replace the gas in the truck I couldn't afford to refill due to having the 150$ deposit not refunded to my card. So it cost my almost 100$ for half a tank of gas! And I had to go through all this because some bad driver sideswiped my truck and it was in the body shop getting fixed at the time. All your company did was add insult to injury and cost my money I didn't have to spend! It's been a pretty bad start to the year for me as it is as this was an absolute kick while I'm down. Should honestly be ashamed of yourselves. But you won't be so what is this review even worth?

ZERO stars. In 2012, an Enterprise employee in an Enterprise vehicle hit my parked car in a parking lot while I was in it. She lied to insurance and the collision went 50/50 since there were no witnesses. February of 2018, my parked car was sitting in front of my home and an Enterprise employee in a marked Enterprise shuttle was dropping off my neighbor, and nailed my parked car, and then screeched off. HIT AND RUN. Luckily, I had witnesses this time. After multiple hang ups, unfulfilled promises of calls back, lies, and Enterprise people coming to my house to sneakily take pictures of my car that had $2000 in damage, finally this one went my way. I just had my car repaired and used Discount for my rental, and they were fantastic. After YEARS of LIES and attempted insurance fraud, I would NEVER EVER recommend this company and WHOLEHEARTEDLY endorse Discount.

These guys are GREAT! I would give more stars if I could. I picked up the rental last week, I was picked up from my house (Thank you Shourya)! The whole rental process is rather swift if you’ve checked in using the texts they send btw. The Apple CarPlay wasn’t working on the car with my phone, and (-special thanks to Suyash who spent a few minutes trying to make it work. Then someone else came out to help (sorry I don’t remember his name but thank you) who had an IPhone. He plugged his phone in, and mine started working right after. When I returned the rental, all of them remembered my name and greeted me (these guys are polite and friendly). And then the whole checkout process took less than 5 minutes and I got dropped off at my house! Thanks so much guys, I’ll be back soon for whenever I to rent a car again. You guys have a very HAPPY customer (me!).

After receiving a vehicle sprinkled with drugs and tobacco throughout the car, I called Enterprise to inform them of my complaint of the car being filthy. I was told a vehicle would be brought to my house within 30m, then 30s later was told I have to go to the branch with the unsanitary vehicle for an exchange. I’m sure if I threw a fit about it a vehicle would be delivered - but that’s a headache I don’t care to deal with right now. Gloves on for now! Keep in mind this is during the global shutdown pandemic where sanitization and cleanliness is a key factor in remaining you know, safe and alive. I’m pretty disappointed with the cleanliness standards and the respect shown towards customers health and well-being.

I booked a truck, but when I got there they told me that the system had made an error and booked a truck that wasn’t available. They said this through a halfway open door, they didn’t even come outside to address me. They said they called me, but I never got the call. When I told them that I needed the truck to move some furniture, they said there was nothing they could do, the lady said sorry, and closed the door on me. I understand that we are going to a pandemic, but you could at least help me find a solution to my problem. Especially, considering that the error was made by enterprise, not me. After this experience I will probably look for another company to rent a car.

I had received great service from Heshi (Hershy)!!! Before even receiving my rental I had called enterprise multiple times inquiring about certain vehicles and differences in rates etc and Hershy was the associate that always answered my call and provided me with all the information I needed and was so extremely patient when helping out. When I brought the rental back to return as soon as Hershy saw us waiting and he immediately greeted us with a smile and completed our return quick! Hershy has given me some of the best service I have experienced at enterprise! I will definitely be renting a car from this location again because of the great service provided!

I am very pleased with my rental experience at the 178 street location. After having my reservation at budget fall through( they didn't have any vehicles that matched our reservation and were very rude and stated that a panel Van was the same thing as a Jetta because it has four wheels). I then went around the corner to enterprise who were very friendly and courteous, who were able to get me into a vehicle within a half hour. The vehicle was very clean and very nice and the customer service was by far the best I've ever received while renting a car. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be renting future cars here.

This Enterprise is truly awful. They never have the vehicle that you reserve available. Then they ask you to pay for an upgrade which should be free because they don't have what you originally wanted. The last vehicle I rented from here's heat didn't work and it was in January so it was cold. I had to wait 4 hours to get a different vehicle and when I went over to change it out - they still didn't have a comparable vehicle. This time, we tried to rent a truck and they didn't have it available but offered a large SUV. Sorry, my 8 foot couch that I'm moving isn't going to fit in an SUV which is why we wanted a truck.

Horrible service Every insurance company used this brand. These lovely people can’t even call you to let you know they have received your reservation. The fact that they have no inventory and you are on a call when available list. They then estimate a date and can’t even be bothered to call you on that date given to let you know one way or another what is happening. Sure would love to live their life where they don’t need a vehicle to get to work to get paid. After 10 minutes of waiting to speak with some the voice messages stop. After 15 minutes the phone hangs up on you. Ask me how I know.

Horrible!Not recomend.i did rent a car there because my insurance referred me here. My car is stolen so i dont have any credit card.only new debit card that i have and i get from bank right away.so when i did my deposit thru them.after 3wks i think. Then staff there told me they need to wait to pay my insurance before they gave back my deposit.after 1wk someone called me and said i need to wait in mailbox for another 2 weeks to get that cheque but until now still waiting.horrible experienced.i highly dont recommend this enterprise in this branch. If you choose to rent with these lazy and incompetent people make sure you look over the car head to toe and even underneath the doors etc.. I brought the car back and there was a small dent underneath the car from before me. Me and the girl didn’t see it when I picked it up. ( she didn’t even look in that area under the car ) So don’t expect these lazy employees to do there job, check the car 100% your self. Now there blaming me for the damage, classy company. And the Kia they gave me was a terrible car also not comparable to the car I had in the shop. Good luck

These folks are the highest example of customer service and, as such have garnered my loyalty. I was struggling to search for a vehicle (not a location) and could not get other car rental companies to do anything but call another location. When I called Enterprise and explained my situation that person took action and handled finding what I needed. A different Enterprise location phoned me, took care of everything and then charged me less than if I went through AMA! The entire experience reassured me that real service is still out there! Great job Enterprise!

Not a good experience... I always use enterprise when I travel with great service so this was surprisingly bad. I waited an hour for my car and was told to stand outside. Complete chaos inside. Stood outside in hot sun for 45 minutes. On return my car checked in and signed off with no damage noted. 24 hours later I received a call stating I damaged the car. This all felt like a scam and I am still worried they will charge my credit card for this "damage ". I have sent a complaint to enterprise about this with no response. Needless to say I was not impressed.

I need a rental car as I was involved in a not at fault collision. Allstate rented me a dodge Durango. The tires on the truck are rated 3 season tires. Not good for snow and ice as per kal tires website ( that is also the shop Enterprise uses) when I spoke with enterprise on 178 street in Edmonton, I was told that the min government regulations state that they only need tires that are rated for M&S. So Enterprise uses cheap Chinese tires to rent cars to consumers to drive on northern Alberta …. Where we get 9 months of winter driving

I was visiting from Ontario. I called a couple times with questions before picking up my rental, even though they were very busy these guys took time to make sure I was taken care of. Gerald's Customer service was excellent. :) The air wasn't working great in the first car, he switched it out with no questions and just overall great service. If you need to rent a vehicle, I definitely recommend this location. All the men working there were very friendly and great with customers. Thanks guys! The worst rental experience that I ever had was with this branch! They don’t deliver the promise they made! So unprofessional and irresponsible! I booked a small car to pick up before 9:00 am, but at 9:40 they were going to give me a mini car that just arrived without cleaning and following the covid procedure just because another customer was unhappy with the size of the car they got! And given the other car to them and mini(2 person capacity car) to me! The manager was so rude and careless about the situation that was happening in his store!!!

A great experience! My insurance company had Enterprise contact me after my car was banged up in a collision. Not only did they pick me up from my work, they also provided me with a vehicle that was very similar to my own to drive around until repairs were done to my car. They had fresh coffee and treats for their customers at the counter. Their friendly staff were great to deal with and they even dropped me off at the body shop after I had turned in my rental. I highly recommend this location at 178 street. Thanks gang!

I recently took my vehicle in to get repaired after an accident and needed a loaner vehicle during the days that it was in the shop. This was my first time using a rental vehicle company and they were amazing. They made every effort to ensure I was happy with the experience and the vehicle. They asked if I wanted a SUV to match what I own but they didn't have one available. However, it was not a big problem for me and I drove a car for the couple days. They were wonderful to deal with and I would definitely recommend.

Me and my husband came here to rent a car for our trip and when we got there the systems were down so they offered to drop us off where we wanted and said they'd give us a call and pick us up when the systems were running. 45 minutes later we still hadn't even gotten a call so we went back and they were serving people and it was clear their servers had been running for atleast twenty minutes. I had also left my phone in the car so when we asked to get it they had us wait 10 more minutes before receiving my phone.

It was my Birthday and i had plans for which i paid money for all my reservations, i booked my car as well in advance and my booking got confirmed and i got confirmation through email and got online check-in message on my number as well. But today morning before i go to this enterprise i called them and they simply said "i am in a waiting list" at the last moment,the guy on the desk was rude and arrogant. They spoiled all my plans and money i paid in advance for other things. NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Been renting here since 2019, consecutive monthly. Had some issues here and there in the past but nothing that wasn’t rectified by the managers at that time. The only downsides are the limited choice or availability of the vehicles and high employee turnaround. I see totally new faces every couple of months and have to build goodwill with them from scratch. Overall great experience and the staff is friendly. My business was mostly appreciated and I am hoping to continue this relationship for years to come.

Great experience at the rental place, I was given ride to and from the repairs shop like any other enterprise. The manager and other stuff were very friendly and courteous. The lady took her time explain me everything about JEEP I rented. There can be long wait time, so call before you come so that they can have your car ready. The other thing is to remember not to take the option to return the car with empty tank. I end up not using the car that much and was given gas credit for next rental.

Staff made excellent effort to accommodate but the cars being offered for rend definitely need an improvement. I had to switch 3 cars in one day at the end i end up canceling rental all together. First car had strong smoke smell, second squeaking noice wile reverse braking, third had a big chip in the front windshield. Also I was charged for gas even though I filled the tank with same amount I used for a day. On the plus side I did receive 20% discount for next time to use in any location .

One needs good luck here to be totally happy. Staff is always friendly, some times over friendly. Most of the times cars are good, but it is common that one gets a smoke-scented car, a broken stereo and one finds out after the cars has been locked with the windows closed for an hour or so, or when the stereo has been working for few minutes. I have rented several cars here because prices are good and service is better that Budget, Avis or Hertz. Enterprise is good, but not excellent.

Don't rent from here. The customer service is unprofessional and slow.I booked online, and when I got there, the manager wouldn't let me rent what I had reserved because my driver's license felt funny. Then he mumbles my number and address wrong for verification that I said yes too cause I couldn't really understand, and he refuses me again after I drove an hour and waited another 30 minutes for him to only tell me he can't rent me my reservation.Owner was terrible too and no help

The staff here were very kind and courteous, they made sure that all of the important details of the rental contract werr made clear and went over the vehicle with me before seeing me off. I returned part way with a question about possible damage to the vehicle and in a very professional and courteous manner they made sure that I was not stressed about any issues. Our customer service rep was very friendly, informative and really cared about our needs. She allowed us to have our two small dogs in their rental after a mix up at our car dealership. The shuttle service was awesome and had no issues or delays in booking it. We also left our keys in the rental vehicle and when we called them, the immediately offered to have them shipped to us ASAP. Definitely recommend this location! Their customer service reps are AWESOME ! :)

Staff were great when we were giving the little go kart back... checking it out to begin with...not so much. The car had no windshield washer fluid in it whatsoever not even a drop... inside the car was not actually clean.. looked like it had been wiped down with chlorx cloths and that was the extent of the cleaning unfortunately. Very poor customer service. Call to tell sam I would be about an hour or so late picking up my $500 rental (call was made at 10:50 am) and sam told me that was fine. We got to enterprise at 12:15 and Noone was there. They closed at 12 and sam didn't have the Decency to inform me that they closed early on saturdays, and now I was stuck spending anouther night in Edmonton, till I found a new rental. Would never recommend this location.

He made whole experience very smooth. Ay-kay is the branch manager at this location and he helped me with the return and at the end he asked me about my rental experience . Monish was incredible. It was a busy Sunday at 1145, and a tone of last minute customers came in (including me). Two of them were so rude demanding discounts and not having any deposit, I couldn't believe how badly they were treating your poor enterprise staff. But Monish never lost his cool. Awful experience. I got a parking ticket and paid it. I showed proof of payment and everything. Enterprise is still charging me for the ticket and and extra $18 for an Administration Fee. I called to see if they would help me at the west end off and no one was willing to help me. I feel so used and taken advantage of. So know they are going to charge me for the ticket again. I need to rent a high top cargo van for the end of June and I was not disappointed. They have the Ram Promax and the Ford Transit. I am going to drive it 1600 kms and I believe there is no way the competition can match the price I got. The vehicles are newer unlike U-Haul which sent me out for the last time there with a piece of junk. Can you say old beater for top dollar? No thanks. Enterprise has never done this too me.

Very busy but was warm and welcoming. Went to return my rental. This location was closer to the body shop that fixed my car. My rental had everything from stroller to car seat. They were very accommodating and used said rental I returned to drop me at the body shop and waited for me to get my car inspect it and then transfer everything from the rental to my car. Awesome service, awesome staff, keep up the good you do.

first the experience was great from start till almost finished. there was a miscommunication that resulted in a balance owing. when confronted with this there assistant manager Lecan stayed very professional, even when i was not be a pleasant gentleman. Had a rental through insurance. Was booked for a compact SUV, however none were available at the time of pickup. After 4 phone calls over the course of the first week (including one from the insurance company), it was apparent they were unwilling to find one for me. They were courteous and I got a compact sedan (Kia Forté); but I would have given 4⭐ if they had even looked for a SUV. 5⭐ if they had found one.

Enterprise was great! I was driving a 2019 Ford Fiesta for about a week or so. It was very clean when I got it, and drove well! Such a nice little car! I loved it! They only thing I wish I could change about my experience would be their policy on Debit refunds. They send a cheque via snail mail, instead of processing the refunds in store. Over all, great experience, and the staff was personable and friendly.

We rented a vehicle from this location for our summer vacation. Due to the recall on the Ford Expedition SUV's, we were unable to get an SUV. Mr. Suyash Gargh, the Asst. Branch Manager, went above and beyond to help us out, as did all of their staff. In the end we got a vehicle that more than served our purposes. I will definitely be renting from them again. The car smells like smoke. I mentioned that to the lady who gave me the car. She offered to spray it with a deodorant spray but I declined. I don’t want something that covers the odor. And it’s December, so I can’t open the windows to breath fresh air. The car wasn’t very clean from the inside. We needed a place to wait for our next appointment and Suyesh gave us a ride to the nearest restaurant so that we can wait in comfort. Very accommodating with last minute rental. However, no locations in the city open past noon on Saturdays and completely closed Sundays making vehicle drop off difficult as they also do not have key drop boxes. One last thing, if you are renting for 2 weeks or more I don't think the added glass coverage is worth it as a new windshield would probably be cheaper if push came to shove.

Don't waste your time on this place. Very unorganized. After arranging my own ride, I arrived at my scheduled pick-up time, and the vehicle was no vehicle ready. There were also others waiting in the lobby that had been there for hours, so after I waited over a half hour for nothing, I just left and rescheduled elsewhere.

They advertise that they “pick you up” but then it’s not clear how you book it. I tried calling to book, I was on hold for 15 min and it sounded like I was put through to the local office and after it rang for several minutes the call just ended. I called twice and the same thing happened. So frustrating.

This has to be one of the top rental places we have been too. The hours are good and the staff are nice. This place seems to be customer service driven as we have yet to have a bad experience here.
