I found an old cheque at home from last year. I did not know that you can not process a cheque after 6 months from the date. So, my online banking blocked me out right when I tried to deposit it and I had to visit a branch. I was being assisted by this lady, I did not get her name but I did over hear that she works at the St. Mary's branch and was filling in today. Regardless, she treated me like I was suppose to have that knowledge already and made me feel stupid, plus she was very condescending. I work in a customer service environment and I understand that people do not always know what the correct answer is or the correct way to do things; but to have someone in a professional environment like that belittle your intelligence is unnecessary, and unprofessional. The attitude this lady gave to me does not make me want to be apart of this branch any longer.
2 for 2 on Terrible client service reps. Phone calls never get returned, E-mailing is a waste of time. We will be switching our business credit cards away from anything RBC just like we did with our banking. RBC and specifically this branch is a joke. Still waiting for a call back, 1 month and counting. 3 voicemails and 2 e-mails. Fast Forward 4 months. Closed down all business accounts, closed RBC credit cards and moved my gf's account. Much happier with our Credit Union now, Still have yet to receive a call back.
Came to this branch on an appointment to open up a Business Account. The Business Account Manager Karen Didn’t even show up for a booked appointment. Never followed up with us. We even left the voicemail to confirm the appointment, never got any reply. Came to the branch an hour before the appointment, got the confirmation that the Business Account manager Karen will be coming for the appointment on time. Wasted an hour there and after that we were told by the bank that she’s not coming for the appointment.
Never ever go into this branch. I got mortgage pre-approval from this branch and by trusting the bank I singed a closed agreement for a property. I requested them that I would like to go ahead with the pre-approval and the staff refuse to go ahead with pre-approval. I lost my money and trust. I do not know the whole Royal bank is like this or only this branch.
I had some old American Express Travellers Cheques. I kept them for contingency purposes. But when the contingency arose when the internet went down, the pet store I was at didn't know how to process them. Later, I took them to the branch and Cheryl of RBC did some digging and found out how to deposit them. Appreciated the time and effort to get that done!
Really rude front desk staff. I just spent an hour total at the bank doing banking services . I really had to use the washroom , she decline me from using the restroom! She said we don't have washrooms for the public! Like I am a client , not someone just walking in! Probably will close my account with them .
Heather is the best to get helped in any kind of situation. The way she serves all customers is amazing. I am proud of her service, though I am not their client anymore. Among all RBC locations, this location is best specially Heather makes a difference. Keep up the good work. Thanks a lot.
Indian lady with a mask was absolutely rude and yelled at my in front of everyone. My mom doesn’t speak English so I went in to help her understand the receipt, and the Indian lady with mask yells “hey stop that she understands English” no person should ever conduct themselves like that.
I set up a new account over the phone then I went in and showed my ID signed papers and got my temporary card when I went to use it I couldn't because they had forgotten to give me a paper to sign and wanted me to come back I have 2 toddlers and it's a 5 mile walk really inconvenient
We would like to send a great thank you to Ms. Maria Ryza Neria for her professional service on Sept 23th, 2021. She was very nicely and friendly, answered all of our questions and gave us many advices! She made us feel warm with her "Thank you" by our mother language!
If you want to learn patience, please visit this branch. If they would be anymore slower, they would be closed. I joined RBC for the customer service, this branch is trying their best for me to take my business elsewhere. Please stay away.
Extremely slow RBC branch… be prepared to wait at least an hour here when you see only two tellers and a line of only 4-5 customers waiting ahead of you, or better to drive away and go to a “normal” RBC branch
I was robbed at knife point at the ATM . The ATM is located in a hallway with 2 doors and you have to park a mile away because all the spots are handicapped. Unsafe ATM very secluded and hard to see .
I opened an account and a credit card in this bank, Mario's bank representative helped me with this, he explained everything very well and we quickly processed everything, I really liked everything
Great management. Friendly stuff. Some people write negative comments and u wonder if they have actually been there. Maybe we should take selphies just to authenticate the comments.
Did what I requested but gave me a hard time about what I was transferring money into a client's account for...which I don't need to disclose legally.
Terribly run branch. Not enough tellers on duty many times. Wait times are sometimes too long, which is unimpressive. Tellers are good & nice.

This bank has the worst customer service. Was yelled at by a bank teller. Spoke with Management and was told it was OK? Will switch to TD.
Had the greatest customer service at this location. I've been to many of the branches throughout the city, and this one was great.
Arrogant, unhelpful awful staff in the offices. Zero customer care and support. Worst branch ever. Really, go anywhere else!
