Encounter #1 TD lady: hello, how can I help you today? Me: good, I would like to deposit a cheque. TD lady: Have you heard of mobile cheque deposit? Me: Yes, but it doesn’t seem to be working. TD lady: That shouldn’t be. Had you tried again? Me: Yes, and I also tried the ATM cheque deposit and it doesn’t seem to be working either. TD lady: That shouldn’t be. Had you tried again? Me: Yes, that is why I’m at the front desk. TD lady: Ohhhhh….. Me: *forced smile* Thoughts to myself: guess what TD lady, not every cheque can be processed by the imaging software, and if I could had avoid this awkward and unproductive conversation, I would had. Thank you… Encounter #2 TD lady #2: hello, how can I help you? Me: I would like to deposit some cash. TD lady #2: I can help you with that. Me: btw, for some reason, the ATM outside isn’t allowing me to deposit times anymore. TD lady #2: The machine should allow you to deposit up to 50 bank notes. Me: I know, for some reason it’s only allowing me to cheque deposit, the cash deposit button doesn’t disappear anymore. TD lady #2: have you tried again? Me: yes, I tried all three machines outside and the cash deposit button doesn’t show up anymore. TD lady #2: maybe try again later. I don’t know what you see on your screen. * done deposit* Me: maybe if you try it yourself then you would know.. *i left* Thoughts to myself: I’m like 90% sure that cash tray is full and no one at this branch had been collecting the money. I tried a couple days in a row, I work in the same plaza, like if could have avoided talking to people at this branch, I would had, trust me. Honestly, she could of went to the ATM with me to see what I saw, but she was to lazy to get off her butt.
I was at this branch to remove my husband's name from our accounts as he passed away. I will start with what upset me most; the TD Bank requires me to take out new credit cards as my husband was the primary cardholder. When I asked why this couldn't be done, an answer could not be provided. Should something like this be an easy request and the process be made as painless/seamless as possible?! I will now try to remember who needs to be provided with the new number. I called for the appointment and asked what documents I would need to bring. I was asked to bring the death certificate only. One of the first things I was asked for was a copy of the will!! When I advised that it was not required when I called, the issue was dropped. Customer service does not seem to be a priority; I have had other issues as well, but will not get into those unless poor service continues.
We have been clients here for 30 yrs. In the last 2 years staff have either retired or left. The new staff are far too inexperienced to handle their duties. They promise to follow up with you by phone but never do. When going to your safety deposited box, they verify your box by a card index box that isn't even in order with cards everywhere. This just leaves the client waiting and waiting till they actually find your info. The wait lines have risen to a 25 min wait, only then to get an inexperienced teller. There is no customer service anymore.
I just had my first TD account set up today with Kelsey Gillespie, she went above and beyond to solidify my understanding of all the different perks of the account I chose. She was extremely welcoming and kind her office is a safe space where you can ask any questions about your accounts. She was remarkably quick but was extremely patient and knowledgeable on all of the account matters. I would 100% recommend getting an account set up through Kelsey as you will be 100% taken care of!!!
Phoned the bank to make an appointment to see someone in my branch, I phoned in 2 days ago. There was no answer when I phoned but it asked me to leave details including the full name and phone number. its been 2 days no one phone back I will try another branch. I phoned around 2pm bank is open till 8pm according to the operating hours. according to the rating reviews looks like lots have the similar experience. Poor cx service in my opinion.
Usually everyone had been very helpful at the branch on Henderson Highway but today I spoke with a young man that spoke so fast, I didn't get his name. He needs to learn better phone etiquette as I felt very rushed and unimportant to this person who may think his time is more valuable than others. He should be spoken to about it. His name which I asked twice sounded like Omrad. Is this who you want represent ing your bank?. How very rude!!!!
Don't wanna post the whole story here, but Treasure has stiffed me twice for appointments, and the manager here gives the absolute worst and nonsense excuses for her accepting poor customer service by the staff. Not going to see either if them again (because I'm a simple lady who likes when the other people show up to our appointments when they are made) BUT this branch gets stars because of some of the other people being so stellar!!
I've been a loyal customer for nearly six years, but I'm extremely disappointed with the level of service I've received. Whenever I visit, I ask questions and am promised that someone will get back to me, but it's become a recurring issue that they never follow through. This has happened multiple times, and it's clear they don't respect their customers. It's time for me to switch to a different bank that values its customers.
I can see why the reviews are poor at this branch. I've dealt with TD Canada trust for over 30 years, and this branch has the worst service. Calling in, employees tell you they can't help because it's not their area. They can help with some things, but not others. The Branch Manager doesn't value long term customers, and is not concerned with keeping them.
Been a customer since 1996. New manager wont cash my paycheques of a new job of wich I have deposited 3 so far with no issue. Went to a different branch and was helped with no issue. I wouldnt go back to this branch. Managed horribly
I have never had any issue when visiting the branch. Though last summer when using the ATM on off hours the was a homeless person stationed outside of the bank who was hitting ppl up for money after they we exiting the atrium.
literally have to go in everytime to do anything! tried setting up my apple pay and calling them and they always say go to your home bank to fix that, i always do and i find i have many problems with this bank.
Got a large cheque from mpi to replace my stolen car that was a total loss, they are holding the cheque for 5 business days. We are currently transferring all our money out of TD. Service has gone way down
The staff here are super unhelpful. I had to go to a different td location to get my mpi cheque deposited without a hold. They had no problem doing it for me. This henderson location was unable to help me.
I had appointment with (Advisor: Kelsey Gillespie) I did not help us she just Racist person after that I went another branch this give me all my money back with apologies about teams fraud do mistakes
I don't think this branch understands COVID at all, they do not seem to have any suggestions or recommendations on how to operate while someone is in quarantine.
Set up an appointment to see an advisor for a mortgage. The advisor was not helpful at all. I guess this bank doesn't want my business.
Terrible long line up, no help for walkers or wheel chairs! I’d give no stars, it that wasn’t a option!
Would be nice if they actually opened on time, and not 20 minutes after 9am. People have places to be.
