If I could post with negative stars, I would. We went in with a certified bank draft from my husband's late fathers estate. The teller said she may have to hold it for 5 days (it was a large deposit), and checked with her manager - through the computer. Her manager did not even get up to see the certified cheque. Manager said they would have to hold the cheque. We had to ask to see the manager in person before the manager got up and came out of her office. She then started with attitude, interrupted us and our concerns, and completely dismissed us. The previous time we deposited a large amount from the estate, we were flagged as fraud and had to spend TWO HOURS fixing it (with the cheque in hand, still flagged and still didn't believe it was real). We took the bank draft (which is like having the actual cash on you), and deposited it into our other bank account and are closing our TD accounts. Nothing but issues with this branch and this bank. Every time we go in we are judged, dismissed, and have to hold ground to be able to get what we need done. Strongly suggest you go anywhere but TD.
The parking lot is an absolute joke but that doesn’t compare to the experience I had trying to apply for a SECURED VISA. After an unsuccessful SECURED Visa application that took 15 days and constant problems, Scotia Bank approved it within 12 hours. After speaking with the Branch Manager at this branch, I’m actually glad it didn’t go through. She’s very arrogant, rude, and just because my product wouldn’t earn them Sales Revenue, she obviously didn’t care and I was treated like a useless number. The “underwriters had their processes” and their ridiculous demands throughout the entire inconvenient process; for a SECURED card is completely laughable. TD Bank get over yourselves. I absolutely do not recommend this branch or bank for anything other than a headache.
I knew TD Bank services are usually very bad, but I had a feeling that their day to day banking was just fine.... This branch negatively exceeded expectations. You put an incompetent employee to do nothing in a longer hour day, and she will make sure nothing happens... The worst experience ever. Makes me think why do I even bank with them??? And a weak manager that have no authority neither personality to control employees makes that branch which is located unfortunately in one of the highest End of Winnipeg and should not only be the busiest, but the richest too.... I'm a pharmacist that was treated like a criminal because of a teller didn't wanna do her work. And at the end I proofed them all wrong.
I wanna get some US dollars change yesterday. around $50 1 US dollar. The guy who served me was so rude . He said he can’t do it. I said why kenaston location can do it ( because they don’t have enough for me that’s why I come Bridgewater. ) He keep saying I can’t do it and find someone to do it. If you doesn’t know how to do it just ask your manager / supervisor to help you. Why you said the system not allow you to to it. I don’t get it. Anyways, the girl who served me was nice and polite.
I recently had a more than great experience with John Hrabec, District Account Manager for Small Business. He is always patient, reply email on time, answer all my questions, think about the client. His great personality and service will be the most important reason that I choose TD as my new business account bank.
The staffs are all patient and professional. They helped me solve my problem quickly. Especially the team Sahil, he helped me a lot. I’m very appreciative of them.
Amazing staff, full of knowledge and right advice. Great hours. Variety of products available. They know how to earn and keep your business.
I would give 0 star if I could. Please go somewhere else unless you want to be judged and mistreated when you try to bring money to them.
