Nov 23, 2022 - Terrible experience with your rep that worked tonight. I had initially called to get a car since mine was being repaired. The man who i spoke with told me i had to get approval and also figure out what my daily rate was..when I called back he said he didnt have a sedan available (thanks for telling me after the fact) and that id need approval for a different car. I made sure to ask what time they close since your google hours are incorrect and he assured me 5 is closing time.. at this point it was about 4:15. I called my insurance people for the third time again asking them for approval.. called back Thrifty at 4:30 he picked up the phone and put me on a 5 minute hold so i hung up. Called back a few times and no answer so safe to say I would not be making it by 5 pm....I wasted 3 hours trying to get a rental today with zero luck due to your terrible customer service rep. I'm irate at this point. I should've dealt with another car rental company instead of wasting 3 hours with your incompetent employee.

In response to contacting your customer service team via messenger: I've wasted enough time trying to deal with staff at this location. Your service was the worst that I have ever experienced from a car rental company. The regional manager ought to be replaced with somebody more capable. As per my previous message below; avoid renting from this location. As useful as a chocolate tea pot. Avoid :(

Worst location. price gouging fort last minute rentals. Don't accept corporate discount codes for some reason. They don't make all their vehicles available online so you book it at a cheaper price. Avoid at all cost. First and Last experience with Thrifty. Ended up getting a 7 seater expedition for almost half the price these guys quoted for a highlander.

Reserved a car over two weeks in advance, went in to pick up my rental and was informed that they don't accept debit/credit cards for deposit. Don't use this location with the technology today a credit card should not be needed when a debit/credit is in hand. Get with the times and accept debit/credit cards. You cost me my job.

we receive a good car in perfect condition. only one think: when you book a car - there is no information about insurance. When you come to pick up the car - they give you an information about insurance and you have to pay more then twice more then the price then it was named at the beginning

I had their insurance when I rented the car and the person i bought insurance from said that the minor accident i had while backing up in the parking lot will never show up in my record because it was their private insurance but now i have that accident listed my record.

Rude workers with no customer service tact. Was not given the car I booked initially and then told I was in the wrong . Workers asked me if I was “able to read”. WORST EXPERIENCE DO NOT USE THRIFTY AT EDMONTON AIRPORT.

I like the selection of cars, the only complaint is I got my rental booked on a company account and they were confused and couldn't find my reservation for quite some time

Guys could you answer your phone. I'm gonna come there and let it ring in my pocket and see if you answer it. Get an answering machine too.

Nothing good to say about this company at all just a total disappointment everytime, will not be renting here again, ever.
